I'd rather have Say Anything too as far as music preference is concerned, but Circa Survive's energy and rapport with the crowd is INCREDIBLE. Their concerts have been the most immersive, audience-oriented shows I've ever been to. Their music is okay (the new album isn't nearly as good as the last), but at every show they put so much heart into their music that it's a bit magical to watch them perform. I think they'd be great at Roo.
