Who played this spot in years past? Curiosity, patterns and predictions are the purpose here. Some think Deadmau5 may be taking that spot. Some think Primus would be good here. FLips could pull off their 6 hour song here... ?
He's like you made an über troll by taking the worst parts of me (the utter disregard for other people's opinions), Phi (cluttering up threads with memes and adding nothing to a discussion) and Jess (an apparent belief that everyone else is the problem and/or arrogance without self awareness).

2007 - Flaming Lips and String Cheese Incident (could be wrong but I think this was it...not sure)
2008 - My Morning Jacket and Phil Lesh & Friends
2011 - Lil' Wayne
Your 2007 is the same as what I dug up from 2010. Is that right? I'm updating the top post with confirms and I can't find a 2007 (or before) schedule
2007 definitely had Flaming Lips. I remember stumbling and coming upon the show with tons of lasers. I just found a schedule that confirms Flips and String Cheese as late nights (source)
I also found a 2010 schedule and it looks like there was no Which stage late night (Jay-Z was playing during this time on the What stage). Not sure if this is 100% right since this was the only Roo in the past 8 years that I missed. The other night was Flaming Lips doing Dark Star
So far, the biggest thing I see is that they should ALWAYS have a LN set on Which BOTH Friday and Saturday. Period.
Edit: and The Flips have 2 years in between each LN Which set...so they're due again in 2013, 2016, and 2019
Definitely. If they don't populate the Which stage for LN on Friday and Saturday in 2013, I'll be disappointed and confused.
It was very strange walking by the Which stage last year LN Friday and seeing nothing but a few crew people on stage quietly moving stuff around. LN Which shows are so great and it seemed like such a waste to do nothing with it.
It seems all late night Which acts are good for is clearing space for the late night tents.
In 2009, it was Nine Inch Nails at Which versus Moe, MGMT and Ben Harper and the Relentless 7.
Sometimes I totally agree with you. But sometimes Which late night is very worthwhile. Also everyone who was at MMJ in 2008 might disagree with you. (I stayed for the first hour and then went to the Superjam.)
