Even without Jeff Hanneman (Gary Holt filled in for mayhem tour), seeing Slayer live this year was easily a 5 boner show. The best part was after their set was over and I went to go piss and refill a water bottle, people everywhere were randomly yelling "Slaaaayyyyyeeeeer" until Slipknot started 30 minutes later.

I agree with #1 too but think that Gojira, Meshuggah, and Swans should definitely be higher on the list. I can't judge the whole thing because there's about 15 or so albums I've not listened to yet.
I'd love to see Converge on the lineup but I don't know if we'll get that lucky.

They are festival friendly and have earned a ton of critical praise for this album, so they're not a bad guess for metal this year (assuming metal doesn't get the shaft like it did in 2012).
