I'm gonna take my big ole Tennessee flag to Glastonbury next year, and no one better say a THING.
PS. Someone at Roo this year had an AWESOME flag that was a mix of the Tennessee state flag and the Bonnaroo symbol. I want one SO badly!
I SAW THAT! I want one as well! If anyone knows where these things are please speak up!
I believe this is the flag of which y'all speak. Couldn't manage to get a very good picture of it though.
I enjoy the flags, mascots, poles, balloons, jellyfish, etc. that people bring. Like others I think it adds to the atmosphere and it does help with locatin' friends. So long as it isn't huge and obstructed my view a lot it's fine.
He's like you made an über troll by taking the worst parts of me (the utter disregard for other people's opinions), Phi (cluttering up threads with memes and adding nothing to a discussion) and Jess (an apparent belief that everyone else is the problem and/or arrogance without self awareness).

I saw some1 with Oprah on a stick 2 yrs go 5 times at multiple shows and a cookie monster with a stick shoved up his ass at deadmau5....all fine by me especially at EDM shows but at main stage durin a show i cant stand ppl wit flags/umbrellas/signs and especially THEIR DAMN PHONES....watchin a mind blowing show threw the eyes of a 6 by 2 screen from the pit smh...
I don't mind the flags, and as annoying as those lines of people walking through the crowds are, I try to not let it get to me. I refuse to let others ruin my concert experiences. So, if I'm in a spot with a lot of traffic, or obstructed view, I move. I personally think the flags and props and all the cool stuff adds character to the crowd, and makes the overall feel more enjoyable. The real issue here isn't the abundance of flags, but the lack of screens at Bonnaroo. I much prefer to watch a show on the screens, from the back, with plenty of room, than to cram myself up front to try and get a good view.
I've wanted to give you good karma a few times, but you've opt-ed out! ???

I don't really care about the flags one way or another. I'm just always amazed that people want to carry extra stuff. I get tired carrying a backpack. I can't imagine carrying around a giant flag or octopus or jellyfish or any of the other ridiculous things that people carry for hours. If it becomes an issue with flags being in your way, you could always light another sky lantern and burn the darned thing down
