I feel bad for not liking the new Tame Impala song as much as I should... Maybe my expectations were way too high. Still a good song, but I remember Apocalypse Dream coming out after I played the shit out of Innerspeaker and it totally blew my mind away. I remember hearing Desire Be, Desire Go right before Innerspeaker came out and it totally destroying my mind. New tune is good, but doesn't give me the same feeling.

I feel the same way. I like it, but it doesn't leave me wanting to hear more. And the part where it sounds like a CD skipping is pretty jarring, though obviously that's the intent. I think that's something that will grow on me with multiple listens though.

Not "new" but a week old. I keep forgetting to share it. I'm absolutely enamored with this band. Might be one of the few things right with music these days.
