I think I may end up selling my ticket for UM for 12/29 because I have a feeling that I am going to miss most of it anyway because of the Neurosis show. I will do that late night show at Tabby after UM that Zoogma is doing though.
I just bought tickets for Toubab Krewe NYE show in nola, but that doesn't start until like 2am. Still trying to decide which show to do before that.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Black Lips would be the better show, but I've never seen Leftover Crack. And I just found out that the friend that was gonna go with me to Leftover is going to some house party instead, so I am probably gonna do some Black Lips.

You get my pm? I'll add u on fb now. As for the rest of you we shall see.
Is there an opener for this bassnectar show? I can't find anyone anywhere. I've heard rumor of mr nectar not letting people use their best sound settings before him. Assume he may save the wow factor too.

And clearly you aren't a rapist (I hope) but the way you pop into any thread where a woman happens to be lamenting her lack of ride to Bonnaroo and tell them to come hop on your bus sounds extremely rapey.

So we're just walking in downtown Nola to go get some food and Huey Lewis and the News is playing near the river walk. Tonight is going to be awesome. I love Nola.

NYE in San Francisco was f'n amazing! 12/29/12 Furthur was super psychedelic and very exploratory. 12/30/12 Primus was a super psych freakout rager. There was a stealth recording of the show that will pop up on Etree. 12/31/12 Furthur.........what can I say? This was a NYE Dead show. It was heat start to finish.
Every song was jammed out hard. 1st set Scarlet Begonias>Here Comes Sunshine>Music Never Stopped 2nd set highlite- Unbroken Chain>Let It Grow>Uncle John's Band NYE A giant phoenix rose above the crowd! Pretty amazing in person. It landed on the stage and then was above it for the whole 3rd set which featured a spun NBA hall of famer Bill Walton as Father Time raging around the stage. Help>Slip>Franklin's Tower was the dominating force of the 3rd set, with a tasty Lady with a Fan>Terrapin Station>Brokedown Palace encore

Was anyone at the Avett Bros show in Greensboro? We drove down from Ohio and it was an amazing night. The highlight was hearing Seth & Bob do Jim Croce's Operator. They played it back stage at Red Rocks and there's a video of it but no one ever expected to hear it live. The entire place freaked, it was very emotional.
