Last year we got George Clinton, and they said they want to make it a running thing... so hopefully something decent on that level, here in town. It wasn't the best thing I've ever seen but it was a ton of fun seeing them in the middle of downtown Columbia as our rinky dink imitation of the Time Square Ball Drop was taking place.
It really seems like the same acts do NYE shows around here... Avett Brothers, every year, or some fucking shitty jamtronica act somewhere near. Something unique would be nice.
