Supervisor: <shaking head> About your evaluation, it looks like we may have to lower your score. Me: <confused> What? Why? Supervisor: It's a Friday during football season, and you're not wearing orange.
True story.
You could've said "I'm wearing UT boxers" just to see the expression on dude's face.

From an NC State vs. UT article:
"1.S-E-C You Later: It's a new season, but the SEC expects to dominate again. Got that, ACC? SEC teams are 3-0 against the ACC in Chick-fil-A Kickoff Games. But when it comes to the Chick-fil-A Bowl (and its predecessor the Peach Bowl) the count is 10-10 since the format began in 1993. There's an asterisk — the ACC sends its No. 2 team, the SEC sends its No. 5."
they might. as bad as sc looked. 1.uga 2.fla 3. vandy
Did Dave dislike this post because he thinks UT belongs in this discussion? Because
Nope, I am well quoted on my belief that UT is not going to be great this year. I'd be all for them in the top 3, but I don't see it happening. I was disliking more because I think Sang left out SC just because he hates them.

I think this is more Dave's style and God bless him for it...
Harshest quote ever I have seen in a preseason review was for Illinois. It was several years ago, but the gist of it was "72,000 students and not a one can play football." This was in a bigger sports magazine. I can't remember which one.
^ srsly. I've known plenty of Auburn fans, and despite them explaining it to me umpteen times, I still can't figure out why they cry "War Eagle" when their mascot is a damn tiger.
But then again, the Vols have Smokey the hound dog mascot. I'm convinced SEC teams (and fans) have a special kind of logic...

Dave, dude! I wasn't smack talkin' Smokey! I was just saying that I don't understand why TN has a coonhound mascot when it also uses a Davey Crockett coonskin capped dude as another mascot. No smack talkin' about Big Orange from me... it's in my blood, yo!
