Starting season 2. I'm a little nervous, season 1 was some of the best TV I've ever seen and I've heard season 2 is pretty lackluster.
Season 2 is great up until the final scene. The final scene is great in and of itself, but it leaves the entire show on a cliffhanger that was never resolved.
Found it under the UK title "Aerobi-Cide", looked at some screenshots, read a brief spoiler-free (like it was needed) synopsis and I was sold. This movie has everything I look for in an enjoyably bad movie. And, this is one hell of a tremendous bad movie. All types of bad acting, plotholes galore, made on a shoestring budget and rushed out to video stores in the heyday of direct to video slashers, this movie makes almost no sense and is all the better for it. Some hilarious choreographed fight sequences, too... for as many movies of this type I've seen and this one to really stand out so strong should say something. It's like, think Flashdance meets one of the Sleepaway Camp sequels meets a bad Joe Don Baker action movie from the 80s, and better than any of those individually. On a realistic scale, the movie is a total dud, but in terms of so-bad-it's-good, this one has to be at least 4 stars. Has to be seen to be believed.
Again... I'm in love with this movie. I had only seen it edited to shit on TV years ago, got the Blu Ray on the cheap last week... watched the movie, really dug it. Then watched the documentaries on the actual cases, then the making of doc. It was practically begging for another viewing while it was all fresh. It's not perfect, but what the hell is, especially when it comes to these types of films.
I have to give the edge to Bobby though, mostly because him AND Shelly turned into pretty horrendous characters. James is pretty awful, but that's just because he acts like he belongs in a bad soap opera.
Thankfully Cooper is still solid as ever. Harry hasn't declined much either. And Gordon Cole is still my favorite no doubt.
I still haven't even watched the last three episodes... it got so bad, to me, that I just couldn't take it. I actually felt bad for loving the show so much for the first season and a half because of how high a cliff it fell from. One of these days... I'll finish it out, and watch the movie.
I started watching it with a group of four friends, so to talk about it and not worry about spoiling things (in the age we live of constant serial type shows, everyone knows what this is like)... we started it together for the first handful of episodes, and rejoined together for the last ep of season 1, and the first ep of season 2. One fell off immediately after the end of the main arc, I and one other got three/two (respectively) from the finish, and only one finished it. The one who finished it said, yeah it got silly, but it's definitely worth finishing. I knew I would, someday, but... it's definitely not something I'm rushing out to do (and I even own the second season on DVD).

First season is great no doubt. First half of season 2 has some moments, but it definitely tanks really quickly. However the last two episodes are truly great. The finale was definitely awesome. It's worth toughing through the bad episodes for sure. I'm gonna watch the movie this weekend I believe.
