So I just watched the entire third season of the Killing this weekend on Netflix. Who can I talk to about this? I think Dave Maynar and a few others were fans of the show. I really enjoyed the third season though I can understand some of the complaints I've heard. Saarsgard delivered as always and I really felt for Bullet. Anyone looking forward to the limited, final fourth season for Netflix?

How did you like the third season? And what did you think of the first two?
I watched the first two live so I was a bit annoyed with the delayed conclusion but overall I'd say I enjoyed the show. The third season tipped that off for me when, during the first few episodes I found myself really enjoying Holder and Linden getting back into things. The show really was all about them and while I enjoyed the concept of a murder per season (or two for the first season) I could have watched a different show that just had those two solving a few murders per season.
Bullet was awesome in Season 3. I enjoyed the binge-watch for the 3rd season.

I liked the first two seasons but felt like they dragged out. I really liked that season 3 was more condensed (1 case for 1 season, vs 1 case for 2 seasons).
Season 3 was very good, which made it being cancelled all the more tragic!
I wonder when Season 4 will be rolled out on Netflix...hope they don't f*ck it up

Season 3 is better than Season 1 and 2 combined. Like cks said, it made the cancellation more tragic since it felt like the show was hitting its stride more. I think the cancellation could have had more to do with both of the leads getting more steady work in movies.
Bullet was the best. I looked up the actress who played her, and this was basically the first thing that she had ever been in which made it all the more impressive.

Yea, It definitley felt like it was two separate stories. Season 1 + 2 = the Rosie Larsen case and intro to Linden and Holder (plus getting to know how both operate). Then season 3 felt like they had the characters down and so they put them together in a big serial killer case. Would have liked more but i'm interested to see how the final mini-season works out.

Currently binge watching. It's all about Jim and Pam for me.
BUT I also just watched Hugo (fantastic! not my first time watching it, though) and Ordinary People ( ) so if y'all have any thoughts about that feel free to shoot.
Currently in the middle of Criminal Minds Season 8, Boardwalk Empire season 4, and waiting on Walking Dead to start again in February.....also, about to dive into House of Cards and The Following and maybe The Blacklist.....also looking forward to True Detective on HBO

Ok, HBO. You had my interest already when you said Harrelson and McConaughey solving murders. You didn't have to cheat and put Black Angels over the trailer.
Edit: not watching now but soon, I will be. Oh yes. Come on, premiere.
I just watched this the other day too, and I knew it was going to be depressing but holy wow I wasn't expecting to actually cry. Wtf. Made me want to save the wales and blow up sea world. Just awful.
Anyways, I'm enjoying someHawaii Life on hgtv & dreaming of warm weather. Fucking hgtv has seriously taken over my life.

Oh wait. I am not watching that. Ever. After hearing the terrible commercial this on Spotify for the 1000000000000000000000000th time, something had to give.
