Can't believe I haven't seen this... interviews with Vince Clarke and Martin Gore of Depeche Mode, Richard H. Kirk of Cabaret Voltaire, and Gary Numan among others? I'm in.
I FREAKING HATE THIS SHOW! After saying that.. I cannot stop watching it. It's so dumb yet just entertaining and bat shiz insane.
Every time I see this show it's just vampires f*cking in the woods. Nothing wrong with that but I don't really get the appeal. I've heard if you watch it from the beginning it's pretty good so I'm not dismissing it. But for reals every time I've flipped past it...vampires fucking in the woods.

the past few seasons (including this one) have gotten over the top ridiculous. it is a lot of blood, boning and nudity, but i want to make the sex with alexander skarsgard so i keep watching. i also love all things supernatural and magic, so they hooked me that way. (nerd alert!)
some people really like the books, but apparently the show deviated from them pretty early on.

I'd recommend checking it out. I haven't read the book in several years, but it catches the youthful, jazz filled spirit I remembered from it. I felt like I was watching the beatnics come alive on the screen at times. It leaves out a lot I would have liked to have seen recreated, particularly scenes from Denver, but it's a good adaptation.

I simply don't believe this. For one reason.. it has Kristin Stewart. Second, there is no way anybody can play the role of Neal Cassady. And third.. well I'm not sure; I just have been very against this film since I first heard about it.

You should give it a shot. Garret Hedlund, who I'm not familiar with outside of this movie, gives a decent performance in the role of an iconic character. Kristen Stewart isn't bad, but not much is asked from her. She definitely does not wreck the movie.
Now this
edit: That doc was great. Those girls never seemed to be intimidated by that court system, at least not on camera.

Good news: Netflix profiles showed up this morning on my account. Bad news: Everything I have rated and queued up is on Abra's profile along with all the stuff the kid's viewing history, so I have to start new on my profile.
Edit: Rating is hard work. How often do I really watch wilderness-survival movies like Madagascar? How many stars would I give Three Men And A Baby?
Edit x2: Profiles are just showing up when I use it through the computer. Not the HDTV.
