No NYC date either =\ I gotta drive to upstate NY or take a train to Philly if I wanna see him on this go around. Lamery.
Roseland & T5 were already all booked up, I would think. He can't play anywhere smaller than that (Webster Hall would f*cking implode if he tried to go there and he's not quite big enough for MSG/Barclay's).
Hammerstein? Gramercy? Wellmont (even though he just played there in November the show was a sellout)

hmm guess somebody did ask it..?
AWWWWW Thank YOU. 1. That was recorded live at the "Ewok Villiage Stage" at the Shambhala Music Festival, i think in 2005 2. Yes of course! I trade tracks with all those guys regularly. Flux actually asked me about helping him raise his jellyfish recently, but i decided not to get involved! I have several Dr P tracks which he claims no other DJs want to play, so i've enjoyed playing them exclusively, which is a thrill! all those guys are great. 3. As for Festivals: Artists don't pick which festivals we play. Instead, the coordinators of each event decide who they want and then make an offer to the artist's agent. Most large festivals simply do not repeat headliners (Lolla, Coachella, Spring Awakening, Bonnaroo, etc) and Electric Forest is the same. They simply said they would love to have me back in 2014, and this year they are having PL (whom they did not invite back last year). If it was up to me i would play every festival every year, haha! As it happens we have so many festivals planned this year, i am bursting with excitement! I wish I could announce them all right now!

Gramercy and Wellmont? Wellmont is about 30 miles away from NYC and Gramercy Theater has a capacity of like 500 people.
Hammerstein I should have listed with Roseland & T5, but those venues are booked for over a year in advance a lot of times (I had friends who have worked for both T5 and Roseland, not Hammerstein though). I would assume Hammerstein is the same way.
Spring Awakening (same weekend as bonnaroo) just dropped their lineup. Pretty crappy. I think an EDM stage on the farm stole all the good shiz!

Wolfgang was confirmed for Roo, so if he's doing both.... Just for crazy worst case scenarios' sake, that "rumour" about 1st EDM What headliner... I mean, Calvin Harris isn't that big right? Say AC saw the Skrillex crowd last year and thought " shoulda had him in What stage". There's no possible way AC would see Calvin Harris as worthy of this, right? I mean, Unchained Late-night was kinda Quacked up. Who knows what else they drop on us.

Disclosure has been blowing up lately and they bring a completely unique sound (UK Garage) that hasn't been around in a while. They're playing SXSW and coachella so that's a good sign.

I'm thinking Ultra probably has Mau5 under a no compete clause of some sort. PL will be our main edm act.
lol you cant put someone under a no compete clause for an entire festival season
they can put somebody under a non-compete for as long as they damn well please. Mau5 doesn't have to sign the deal, if this were true they would pay him enough to make it worth not wanting or needing to play another fest.
but it is unlikely.... just playing devils advocate

Non-compete clauses are usually a 90 day and 90-120 mile radius from the event. Not only would this not include Bonnaroo but also the folks at Ultra know they can sell eight bajillion tickets to brostep guys regardless of where else Deadmau5 plays.
This is most certainly not the case. What's more likely is that Deadmau5 is ramping up for his own US/UK/Europe tour and isn't playing a lot of festivals.
