I cannot wait until Week 4 when we have to start dealing with bye weeks. Teams are going to be playing some of the most god-awful starting line-ups ever seen in fantasy football history. Btw, not to be an smurf, but quack you RI quackers
Unsportsmanlike behavior like this just cannot be allowed. What kind of a league are we running here?
Ok (triple post) but i said A-hole earlier and it came out smurf and it confused me. So i was trying to point out that it said smurf instead of jerkstore, and now it says jerkstore again.. These filters are stupid. jerkstore asshole jerkstore an jerkstore

I really hate overreacting after two weeks*, but yeah I saw some of the MNF game and Turner looked like such a pile. Then again it just seems silly to me to bench your 3rd round pick week 3 for a guy who's been on your team for two days.
*The guy I'm playing in that league this week currently has in Malcom Floyd, Lance Moore, and Mike Williams at WR with Fitzgerald and Colston on his bench. I don't know what the hell he's doing but I can only hope it stays that way Sunday.

I have Turner benched in multiple leagues this week, granted I have viable back ups in each, I still would start brown. As for what he seems to be doing, i have noticed this seems to be almost a "passing of the torch" year in fantasy, where a great deal of former studs slip into obscurity but owners still feel handcuffed into playing them. In almost all my leagues it seems if you looked at line ups based on names, the teams that look best on paper are severely under performing and the teams almost slapped together with sleepers and young guns are doing great. Whether this continues remains to be seen, but it seems to happen every 3 or 4 years. I take a lot of risks, so I love it myself.

Well I just switched in Brown. I always hate doing stuff like this in the 11th hour cause I feel like it'll have a greater chance of biting me in the ass, which is obviously stupid.
Also, like 30% of the reason I'm doing it is because I'm going to a bar with some friends to watch the game (stupid NFL Network), and miraculously in all four of my leagues, none of the 8 teams in my match-ups would have any Giants or Panthers players. Might as well make a game between a team I dislike vs. a team I'm indifferent towards interesting.

Gee, I'm surprised you dislike Carolina.
I traded Turner for V Jackson in the other league before the season started and while it wasn't an easy decision at the time I can't complain about the results.
It seemed like Carolina's defensive plan was to let Eli sit back in the pocket and pick a receiver. I don't care if Cam is Jesus. They ain't getting to the playoffs that way.
Snagged Brown off waivers early this week, figuring Bradshaw wouldn't play and clearly Coughlin hopes that Wilson gets hit by a train. Started him over Turner (I'm sensing a theme here). Feeling good after getting 24 points from him last night - which is usually the opposite of what happens for me. I NEVER have an early lead in Fantasy Football. I have sh*t happen like Brandon Marshall and Jordy Nelson both going on Thursday for a total of 10 points.
Anyway, I think Brown MIGHT be more than a one-week wonder. Bradshaw tends to get injured (hence why they drafted Wilson), and Brown has looked terrific in his first two games. Even when Bradshaw is back (probably next week) I'd hang on to him.
While I have heard Brown looked really good from a friend that analyzes football for a living, but the Panthers defense looks like it's just as bad as last year (poor Luke Kuechly). I like Brown as a one-week pickup, but I dunno if he's going to be a season-long contributor. He plays one of the best defenses in the league next week, if he has a solid game against them I'd have to think he's legit.

I think the guy, or girl, you are playing knows exactly what they are doing. Malcolm floyd is Rivers' go-to receiver, Lance Moore has significantly out-performed Colston this season, Mike Williams is having a solid year so far, and Fitz is doing absolutely nothing this season to this point.

Glad you enjoy them.
I apologize for my experiment. My fantasy team name is Jak's Jerkstores (as in the word jerk and store and not the bad word that is edited) and when I used said bad word, it edited to the word smurf. I was afraid that I was using an outdated inforoo reference in my team name so I needed to verify that it indeed was still the words jerk and store. Your understanding is appreciated

I checked today and he has Fitz and Colston back in there, heh.
And thank you to flanzo and hakuna. You guys contributed somewhat to me putting in Brown.
Hopefully this is not the week that Fitz and Colston decide to finally step up haha.. selfishly I want Colston to channel his inner Megatron 2011 so the Saints can finally get a win.
My friend's mom won a raffle the Saints were having for people who donated to Hurricane Isaac relief so my wife and I get to go to the game. The prize was 20 suite level seats (suite is fully catered and beveraged) and 20 pre-game field passes. Even though this won't be one of the better games, I may not get another chance to watch a game from the suite section and I'm dying over the pre-game field passes! I'm very lucky
There's not much to move around on the roster considering the depth of the league. This is compounded when my #1 draft choice has decided to be f*cking awful this year.
Np. I just realized how tight this league is, I'm going to go from 12th to like...5th or 6th with one win. If you don't win your division it's going to be a ridiculous tie-breaker, me thinks. Glad I have Color Blind Tigers in my division
Its ok, quacker. At least you aren't The Pancake Fluffers (the only team with more points than me, by .38 of a point, but who is 1-2) or funkybluvin (who is 0-3 but has got to be in the top 7 or so for total points and is easily number one for most points "allowed").
