I'm pretty sure that somewhere in the Direct Confimation thread he came up as a no. Hopefully it changes because his set in '05 was awesome. He even talked about it in an Entertainment Weekly feature later that year.
Lucky for me I get to see him for Valentine's Day this year. Yes, that means that I don't have to make any real Valentine's Day plans and my girlfriend will still be happy!
Wouldn't be surprised to see my boy Snoop Lion on the farm. The good people of Roo love their reggae.
He might also be billed surprisingly low. Like 12-15 range.
I would say that 12-15 would be surprisingly high for Mr. Lion.
You really think so? I know he's billed behind STS9 at that other fest but I feel like the Snoop name alone would put him at 15. What was he billed in '09? Granted it was under the moniker of Snoop Dogg, but he must have been top 8.
Either way, I think he's a daytime stage act. And I think the show would suck.
Agreed. There are like 3-4 reggae acts that would be worth seeing at this point. Unless they go ahead and get weird and book Mad Lion, that sh*t would be aggressive.
Also, did anyone else read the story about how the Rastafari Counsel (or whatever their governing body is called) basically told Snoop to cut the sh*t, he's not a Rasta just because he enjoys smoking the tweed? Kind of hysterical.
Really funny stuff especially since Snoop boasts about being a rasta and Lion was a name given to him.
