If the McCartney/Hangout thing is true, I'd be really interested to see how Bonnaroo distinguishes itself this year. I really thought the McCartney booking was going to be their calling card for this year, the thing they hang their hat on. If he's playing other festivals (which, admittedly, is just rumor at this point) then it does become less of a feather in AC/Superfly's cap.
Anyone heard or seen anything new concerning Prince? The thread about him hasnt seen any action in 2 weeks now, figured this one would be more apt to get some info if there was any. So what say ye, anything new?

Once McCartney became "confirmed " we pretty much dropped the idea of Prince.

As far as Mumford is concerned, they just finished an Australia/New Zealand/UK tour, are doing a few Northeast US shows and then doing a pretty extensive European tour through Spring, then nothing until T in the park. That primes them up for another US tour if they're going to tour at all. They've said in an interview they'll be on tour through September, so I think they'll be doing something this summer. It's just a matter of if that involves playing already established festivals like Bonnaroo or Hangout or Telluride Bluegrass or if they're going to do like they did last year and do more of their Gentlemen of the Road festivals where they play with like 6 other bands, which is something they have said they want to keep doing. So yes, I do think they'll be doing things this summer and have just not announced them (they usually don't announce summer tour info until later than Jan/Feb). It's just a matter of if Bonnaroo is one of them.
It would make sense for Mumford to announce summer US plans in conjunction with the US run they have coming up.
Yep. I agree. Once one or 2 festival lineups drop with them on it (Im convinced they will strike while the iron is hot) then they release their US tour, which is probably having its final touches being made right now.
