I've met people who "liked" a Drake show, but I've never been given a reason why they liked it. You just get generalities like "oh he was so fun!"
As you probably remember from MIA, a Drake "show" is basically him jumping up in down, wearing all white, with his arms open while they play shizzy audio quality versions of his "music" over the speakers. Every now and then he'll let you know how much he appreciates you not leaving in the middle of his show and how much better the other act is...
Low would make sense with few of the other acts. Mimi contributed vocals on The Seer, and the slowcore is already strong this year with The XX and Cat Power. They've got a new album coming out in March, will be wrapping up a European tour in May, and were apparently trying to play Coachella.
Its not about govenors ball being close. Its about having a show in the States period. Im just saying hes down to play shows in June, festivals none the less, and hes not in Europe. To me sounds just as possible as Mumford who are only playing shows in Europe soon after Bonnaroo. Ya Kanye will cost a lot but I have to feel that Kanye and Panic would be cheaper then Mumford, Bjork, and Petty
Kanye playing a show in a city that he's in pretty much all the time probably has nothing to do with whether he's actually playing shows/festivals this summer.
