Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo in 2013!!
The fact that they were in negotiations tells us that he clearly is on board for doing a fest that weekend this year. Which leads me to think that AC was/is ALLLLLLLL over that. Of COURSE he would try to pull in Macca.
Also, direct translations don't work exactly. Different words have slightly different meanings in different languages, so we don't have a word for the one that is translated as "important", I bet. It's a key word in the sentence and its impossible for me to guess at what it actually means, but really, it's irrelevant.
Because: he is coming to Roo. Sir Paul knows what Bonnaroo is, because it is an IMPORTANT American music festival that he hasn't ever played. And he's getting old, Folks. It's time.
Insider probably posted that article and messed the words up to screw with us. International mind Quack.

Paul McCartney - Dave Matthews Band - Mumford and Sons - Fleetwood Mac - Jack White - Deadmau5 - Wu-Tang Clan - Phoenix - Passion Pit
Friday: What: Phoenix > Mumford and Sons Which: Deadmau5 (LN)
Saturday: What: Fleetwood Mac > Paul McCartney Which: Wu-Tang Clan (LN)
Sunday: What: Jack White > Dave Matthews Band Which: Passion Pit
Not my dream headliners, but probably the best I could realistically expect.
I'd also like to say that if McCartney is there, I really don't care what the rest of the lineup is, because I will be there regardless. I literally couldn't ask for a better headliner.
Upcoming shows:
4/18 - Zeds Dead
4/27 - STS9
4/30 - Suicidal Tendencies
5/1 - The Black Crowes
5/2 - A Day to Remember
5/3 - Smashing Pumpkins
5/8 - Phoenix
5/10 - Borgore
5/11 - Clutch
5/16-19 - Hangout Music and Arts Festival
5/25 - Sunset Music Festival
5/26 - Yngwie Malmsteen
6/3 - Killswitch Engage
6/7 - Fleetwood Mac
6/13-16 - BONNAROO

I actually think this is really realistic and with even two sub-par headliners (even though I like DMB), Macca, Jack White, Passion Pit, and the others more than make up for it. If the top few lines look somewhat like this I will cancel my Coachella plans.

I find Jack White unlikely.. If he plays Roo that would be over a years worth of touring in support of Blunderbuss. Plus it would be the second summer in a row he would be playing the US festival circuit. If he was still touring Id imagine a Euro run would make more sense.

Been at work for 14 hours. But I take it it's Sir Paul?
No insider confirmation but a fest in Europe that's the same weekend as Roo said in an interview they were trying to get Macca, but lost out to an American fest.

Oh God, if it winds up being Macca, does anyone think there could be an unexpected surge in ticket sales? Think there would be a cluster Quack server slam and a 3-4 hour sellout? Did Coachella sell out the year he headlined?

I... I would just cry if that happened.
I was just thinking this and wondering if there will be another pre-sale. And wondering if there is, if I should get my ticket then because I'm likely going no matter what; I just would like to have an idea what I'll be hearing. =) Oh goodness the possibilities!
