I don't give a Quack how long it takes or who it is as long as it's not Mumford. I'm still of the opinion that it's Stevie Wonder and it's not just contract negotiations with him holding up the announcement, but the rest of the undercard as well. It's probably the f'n Avett Brothers still wanting more money to pump out their mediocrity on the chevy stage sunday.

I personally think where the blur is makes no difference. It looks better aesthetically to have people read two names before the blur. When you consider they never had a 3rd name when they put that out, if they throw the money down on a huge name to save their fest, they would be put first in billing.
When the full lineup poster comes out, other names will be moved around as well, like in previous years.
Keep on trying though, I love having some wusscake funboy follow me around message boards criticizing my every post, it makes me feel important. Are you even coming to the fest? Why don't ya call me a 'chimp' in person? I bet you aren't hetty enough.

So, when Governor's Ball (a similarly-sized festival who did the same exact thing) had their blurry headliner third and then when they released the name of the act (GNR) it remained third that meant.....nothing?
The blur is 3rd now, so it's going to be 3rd then. They are not letting a band be #1 headliner for a few weeks before bumping them, that's idiotic to even consider.
They're not throwing money down to "save the fest," to think they're going to break the bank for a multiple-million dollar headliner because Sgt. CaddyBlotter thinks the lineup isn't hetty enough is setting oneself up for a letdown.
It is unlikely I am going to Hangout since I'm going to Governor's Ball, Roo and possibly one other fest. I've called 300 pound plumbers "chimps" to their faces, I doubt I'd have much reservation about doing it to you. Do you call everyone you meet in real life "cheesed*ck"?

If the nonsense posted by the mongoloids on facebook mattered to festival promoters, then Bonnaroo would be in the same situation this year. Fortunately, it does not.

If festivals let FB dictate a festival needed "saving," Governor's Ball would have gotten rid of GNR, Roo would've put out a nothing-but-EDM-and-jammy-jams lineup, and so on. FB is the lowest common denominator of human existence, and festivals are fully aware of this.

Mediocre? Are you serious?? This is My first post because I could not believe my eyes.. You have obviously never been to an Avett brothers Concert.. They more have talent in one pinky thn you probably have in your whole body.. I'm sorry we can't have Uncle cracker or kid rock for you.. We would be lucky to get the Avetts.

I am the king of summoning butthurt up in this biitch. Avett Brothers are boring. Saw them at Hangout 2011 and Voodoo 2012. OMG conflicting opinions!
I thought they were boring at HO 2011 also, but then I saw them at Florida Theatre in Jax and they did an incredible show. They also performed well at the Clearwater Jazz Fest this past fall at an outdoor venue but it still didn't hold a candle to the FL Theatre show. They are better suited to a more intimate setting.
I'm a hip kid (hipster bro hybrid) i kno about yolo and skateboarding and music u guys r squares on the computer looking down on md but lol it's ok i won't give u a beer at are tailgate (which will b the top tailgate @ roo) we have 500 Jell-O shots
