I just wanna know what people on FB think they're accomplishing writing their little love letters to Hangout. "Hangout Fest I love you and I am not going to complain because I know its going to be great!"
....cool, they don't care- what? you think that you're gonna get hooked up with free tickets for that, don't you?
Also, HMF organizers: If you're reading this - I'm going to Waka instead of Hangout if your lineup isn't out by the time Waka ticket prices go up on Saturday. Get your shiz together.
I know you guys have pretty much ruled out Phish... but they're 100% not playing. They have to practice for like a month before they go on tour... and with TAB playing shows until June. Their rumor is (according to .net and others)... that we won't see Phish until late June or early July. Just couldn't lurker anymore.

Hell, by that time we'll probably have tons of bands that have released their summer tour (Phish probably included). My money is going to start going elsewhere unless I see a lineup VERY soon. Flights, hotels, and concert tickets are usually my main expenses in the summer... I can't holdout for much longer.
If someone actually gets to making the poster please use Skream and Benga for the untz acts. The dub/dance kids will lose their friggin shiz. And then add some whatever's most popular now. I don't keep up.

With all the other festivals releasing lineups, I am surprised that Hangout is willing to wait so long. I'm sure there are a lot of undecided people out there that need to book travel, etc...

Once again: they don't care about the people who are nervously trying to finalize travel plans. All of the fence-sitters can go to Waka, EFF, Governors Ball, or Mountain Jam, and Hangout will still sell out in advance. It's obnoxious that the lineup isn't out yet, especially with no word from Hangout on when it's coming, but this delay isn't going to hurt them as long as they can slap together 3 well known headliners, a handful of noodlers, and enough untz to fill the tent for 3 days.

P-DOG is completely right. HO will sell without any issue. 3 solid HLers, UNTZ, and some picking is all you need. The beach sells the rest! If the vague man that was on here earlier was right, I doubt Macca. But I don't he is credible- because that means he has insides to two different fests. Highly Unlikely! Starting to doubt Macca my self though. Kinda back to Petty or Green Day for #1(sorry for the unpopular drop there) Green Day does owe Huku a performance, or Huku could just be done with them- not sure how to read that situation. Did someone say something about a exclusivity clause in which a HLer at HO can not play another fest for the summer? HO is not a 85,000 person festival that can bully other fests. Most fests now just book who is touring with each fest bringing in their "exclusive" books for the year. HO will be no different- no need to try and be a bully. There def is a radius clause but no exclusivity clause.

If Of Montreal was actually at Hangout I wouldn't melt nearly as hard over KOL and Mumford.
I've been telling them since after the first HO that they gotta play there. Their Bonnaroo show in '09 was the only time I've actually seen a band destroy everything on stage.
