As much as I want to be bailed out for missing out on The XX tickets in FL, they are not playing Hangout. They're in Prague, Berlin and Amsterdam on the 16th, 18th and 20th.
Dude. I know that's why I put the disclaimer that this was a wish list. Alt-J is in England at that time as well.
So EFF just dropped their lineup.... looks like Hangout is the last major festival in the early portions of the summer besides roo that hasn't announced artists

I'm pretty positive nobody likes Aoki either, also if the Sgt wants to disrespect bassnectar, well, hes the sarge, so he can do that
But I do like bassnectar (more for him as a person than his music- I have outgrown EDM) so I don't want to drag out a forum fight
I was more shocked by the liking Aoki paired with not liking Bassnectar. I too have basically outgrown EDM. Only seeing Bassnectar/PL when I get the chance.
This + Zeds Dead and mau5. Few others still sneak in there too. Though Bassnectar claims he is not EDM, I'm not even going to start that argument.

some guy on FB just said "Word on the street here in Gulf Shores is the city pulled their permits and they are scrambling to have the fest moved. "
this must be horseshiz correct?
I can't find anything. The only thing I see is that in 2010 Hangout got approved for a 5 year permit, the city couldnt just up and decide to pull it..that was in the contract

I must admit that I did not know Billy's nickname was f*ckface, and I've been watching the O's since the 80's when I was just a wee little lad in Baltimore. That's good stuff, HakunaMATTata.
Saw a press release about Gentlemen of the Road and they were all in the summer. Sounds like an interesting deal with other bands performing. No Hangout mention.
I don't know about y'all, but I am actually pretty bummed that we didn't get a lineup today. I had doubts but I thought that they'd come out and suprise us.
I just hope the waiting is worth it with some excellent headliners and even better undercard.
