Not that it makes a difference.
If I "ran into" the FESTIVAL PRODUCER of Hangout, a festival I am very interested in, I would hound him/her for information about who was on the lineup. The fact that this facebook person didn't mention that they asked for a hint, or gave anything more than what they did makes me think this isn't a solid piece of "information". Could be wrong here, but this doesn't have the 'ring of truth'

No one running the fest is giving out info to someone they don't know. We've already heard stuff about how strict they're being this year and justifiably so.
It would be nice if pablo could share even a shred of info with us. Maybe hint at when the lineup drop may be, or hint at something that will be there, but hasn't been talked about yet. Anything.
Maybe Im remembering wrong, but last year it didn't seem like pablo gave any good info and just teased that he knew stuff but wouldn't share. This year it seems worse. But maybe Im remembering wrong.
Anything to show you're a team player, and show you're for real would be nice. Gloating about knowing what you know and sharing nothing is kind of annoying, weather you really are connected or not.
FTR Im not trying to be confrontational or shyttie, but seriously - its pretty annoying to me what you're doing. Sorry if I am coming off as a jerk, just being honest.
I agree 100% the GTS stuff was funny, but man I really thought he was actually going to give us something. I think most of us live outside the GS area, so we can't listen to his radio show anyways...but a better hint than that shize Heart thing on FB would be pretty cool.
And I think this guy on FB is full of it. If I were a "fest promoter/producer" and some random kid asked me when the lineup was coming out I'd say "there isnt a lineup" and walk away, they are not even posting malarky about the weather, theyre not telling some random kid anything.

Lively up yourselves. In a positive twist, Hangout willing to be the last line-up announced and last tickets available with an early summer date shows supreme confidence in their product. I am not them, but if they feel they can get maximum profit while holding wallets and calendars hostage so long then I have faith. Let the fruit ripen, it'll be worth it. (banging my head against my desk)

It would spread in minutes anyway so I see no real benefit in enduring a Google "hangout" for Hangout, but I can see the marketing partner opportunity there. It would have to be part of some larger partnership though. Just having the release on G+ wouldn't bring in enough $'s to make Shaul jump

So what you're saying is you have info, won't share any with us, even in hint fashion, and you want us to support your station?

Pablo - I would love to listen to your station, especially if you guys get first line up announcement dibs. But as I am in Colorado I have to stream it and I can never seem to get your stream to work, via your website or TuneIn. What's a girl to do?

Maybe Pablo should take a look at the Roo Clues page... I mean, even when the correct artist is guessed, it still isnt an official announcement right?
About that second part. I looked back at how they did it last year. They only gave us a few hours notice about when they were going to release- so I guess it's still a waiting game
If I remember correctly, they always notified us when the lineup was going to drop beforehand. All logical signs point to the lineup being released tonight...except for that little (major) tidbit.
I'll say it now...I don't think we're getting it tonight, unfortunately. I'd love to be wrong.
Of course: It actually IS part my actual job. Shilling never sleeps.
Surfbum: So, because I may or may not have info I should just never come here and participate in discussion, talking about stuff our station will be doing related to Fest, etc? I never came here and said "Hey, I'm gonna leak you info." Teasing is exactly that....teasing. If you don't like being teased, why are you a board full of rumors and booking theories if not to tease your self? Sorry I upset you...relax dude...it's supposed to be fun....no one's kids will starve over concert rumors....
whoever asked about our site/stream: I don't handle those things....that would go to our tech/web folk....but, we are also on Tune In Radio app if our stream is wonky because of our site....
And my goal is not to brag (I have nothing to brag about!), merely to troll up interest for our announcements, contests and such....but I am at Hangout's mercy too...when they wanna drop the info, they will....not my place to give out when/where/who/etc.....
I may get shiz for this but doing some freelance in the COM field myself I get it Pablo, you're just doing you're job. Yeah it's super annoying because we're all antsy about the lineup, but radio is all about promo
