Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Well we don't exactly have confirmations on which days some artists ARE playing, but we can rule out one day they AREN'T playing.
Ellie Goulding, Passion Pit, and Grouplove will all be performing at Atlanta's Party in the Park on Saturday, May 18th. Looks like it's Sun or Fri for them then.
EDIT: Looks like we already knew PP and Grouplove will be on Fri, so all that i've contributed to this thread is that Ellie G will either be on Fri or Sun. Aren't you happy you read this entire post for that?
Give him a chance. I was somewhat indifferent at 'roo, and he blow me away. It was funky and soulful, and his band was top notch. I walked away very impressed.
I am. I'll have an open mind at the fest --- just doesn't look good on paper for me.
also, i know it's a huge pipe dream, but daft punk's site is currently under construction. that would be so tits if they were playing.

Would be awesome, but there's literally no way. Maybe some time down the road friend.
Dino Jr. - Nothing between Coachella weekend 2 and Primavera
Japandroids - Nothing in May except Sasquatch! (the weekend after Hangout).
DFA1979 - They have no dates listed at all on their site, but we know they're playing Governor's Ball in June.
Joy Formidable - Play Richmond on 5/11, then have nothing until Orion on June 9th.
Grace Potter - Opens summer tour on 5/31 in Austin supporting the Avetts. Have foreign dates thru the end of March, then only one Grace solo date on April 9th.
Jurassic 5 - Only has Coachella and the Parklife Festival (6/08) listen on their site.
Saw him at Roo...would have had just as much fun eating a ham sandwich.
But Kings of Leon and Jay-Z stole your face, amirite?
Yessir. People do realize there are such things as generational gaps right? I was 22 at the time. Stevie Wonder was nothing more than someone I had heard about and was familiar with a couple of his songs...that's about it. Hey guess what...I'm not a big fan of the Beatles either. I respect what they did for modern music and I think they're immensely talented, but i'm not going to jam out in the car to "I want to hold your hand". KoL and HOVA, however, I enjoy listening to. I have no reason to be ashamed of that...that's music of my generation. Sorry it doesn't fit your qualification of "good music"...i'm not going to let some music snobs on a message board keep me from having a good time.
People keep bringing up the Beatles earlier work to prove a point. Try listening to The White Album (favorite album of all time), SGT Peppers, and Abbey Road and then decide. Don't base your judgment of the Beatles on "I want to hold your hand". That being said its your life listen to what your damn want too.

For a bunch of music lovers whose mantra is peace and love, the majority of folks on this board are douchenozzles.
1) We have no mantra, and if we did, I am more than skeptical it would be peace and love.
2) I am not sure how much time you have spent reading these boards, but you have 31 posts. That is fine, but it hardly justifies you making the claim the the majority of us are "douchenozzles". If you had any idea the amazing things that the people of this board have done for each other over the years and continuing today, you would eat that assessment. But that often happens when you jump to conclusions and/or make sweeping accusations.

Again, I respect The Beatles...they're talented and modern music owes so much to them. You will never hear me say anything bad about them. But earlier work, later work, doesn't really matter to me...it's just not something I care to listen to. Same with Stevie. Much respect to him, but i'd rather watch Green Day on the beach to be honest. And i'm not a fan of Green Day.

ALL of his posts are in this thread. Pretty sure it's the only one he reads. It's no WONDER that he thinks we're all douchenozzles.

In his defense, most of the people he's arguing with (read longinus and @caddyshaq) are douchenozzles.
Maybe we'll go down to McDonald's and get you a wha-burger and some french cries. How about a whine-eken? You little, sissy boy. AVETT BROTHERS SUCKS!!
This is the worst aspect of inforoo. Why the hell do we have to berate people for their musical tastes?
To be fair, your argument against jamming out to the Beatles was based on "I Wanna Hold Your Hand." Have you ever listened to Sgt Peppers, Revolver, etc.? I'm not berating your tastes, as is so common on these boards, but I'm just pointing out that you didn't exactly support your point very well.
That being said, Stevie Wonder is an awesome show. I understand if it's not someone's top choice, but at the very least- if you're already going anyway- it's a check-mark by a classic artist on a bucket list. Just kind of a bonus. Idk, maybe that's just trying to think on the bright side for you, although I'm really stoked that he's looking like the 3rd HL.
I do agree that people tend to bandwagon hate on these boards. I generally just stay out of discussions about KoL (I like their old stuff, but not the past album or two), RHCP, Muse, Deadmau5, etc. It's just easier than constantly defending my opinion. It's pretty annoying to have to censor which discussions you join because people love to hate so much, but I suppose that's just how it is.
Anyway, dude rocks a keytar better than anyone else you've ever seen- I can at least guarantee you that much!
