I am only a quite player in the begining, or when I am at a loss. Not alot to go on right now, but I do know that we need atleast 3 peoples in the runoff, 4 is even better. If you think of probabilities, we are much more likely to include a member of the mafia in a runoff with four people, rather than two.
I am open to changing my vote to someone else to widen the runoff, but only if Viking will do the same.
I really like the idea of a 4 person runoff but every time we get close, someone comes along and kills it. Like you and I both said, there is a greater chance of catching a mafia member in it if we do. Probability swings from 27% to 36%. That is why Bacon's move was suspicious. Add to that the vote change by EAP and all the sudden, he is out of the runoff.
JHamm, I am not really set on you as being mafia at all. It just follows what happened last game. Add to that, you are extremely quiet and you voted for me. That is why I voted for you. The problem with my changing my vote is that you drop out of a runoff all together, but still am in it. Who do you suggest we change to? There is no clear cut answer that does not include someone already in the runoff.
And what does the lasts game have to do with this one?
You just said JHamm is a quiet player and now you are saying he is being to quiet for his normal playing style? That doesn't make much sense.
These last couple games have switched up things but I'm generally very quite until we at least have a first round runoff. Check you facts, Mr. Bookkeeper.
Since you did not play last game SFA, I will explain all this. I am trying to post shorter posts so that people can follow them easier. Bacon tried to have me killed last game for the length of my posts. The consequence of this is that it comes out more just like a stream of my thought. Honestly, I may just go back to how I use to post, since it seems like this is not helping matters.
You are also merging some fiction with reality here SFA and jumbling what I was saying. JHamm is a quiet player, but he is quiet when he is mafia and he is quiet when he is townie. However, he has been extraordinarily quiet this game. That's why I tallied his posts and figured out the frequency. Either way, I just wanted him to talk which he did and I addressed above. I don't get the continued hostility. I keep books and chart the games I read. Sometimes you are quiet, others you are vocal, so it is not an overarching trend that SFA is quiet Day 1. And yes, I checked that fact.
I agree that having two people in the runoff in the first round is not the best idea. I am changing my vote not because I suspect roonectar (I really don't suspect anyone at this point), simply because it will add one more player to the runoff.

This I do not understand. Why toss him in if you do not think he is suspicious. Especially since I am inclined to believe he may just be being roo at this point. I would much rather have Bacon in this runoff than roo, but Bacon has dropped off the map after EAP moved to roo. Now Roo, JHamm, and I are still in the runoff, but the guy who stopped it from starting is conspicuously absent.
JHamm, this is one way I would move my vote from you. If you are still in the runoff with 2 votes (and it goes without saying that I would still be in it too) and we both go to Bacon I would be inclined to move, since I really think we should have Bacon in it. At the minimum, it sets up the same scenario we were about to go with yesterday, which is a 4 person runoff with the same people.
so roo saves bacon by trying to kill viking and now bacon saves his own butt (plus two others) and kills viking.
bacon, i said before, if you think your method is hot shiz, i'm gonna go with trying to run the game myself. i KNOW i am innocent and i do NOT know you are. i don't want you to have this much power.

Your post is onwards bacon but votes for me? I'm just confused. As soon as I realized I messed with the runoff I switched back. The fact that bacon switched to him after I already switched back makes him suspicious in my eyes. The only reason I switched to Viking was because he had like 3 vote changes at that time and I thought it was a little much. Not suspicious enough to vote him right out which is why I switched. I'm fine going into the runoff I'd just like to see bacon in here with me
It was actually a pretty slick move there. By upping the ante to 3, and losing his second vote, there was little to no chance he was going to get put in the runoff. I am willing to move my vote off JHamm to go back to a 4 way runoff if someone on me or roo would move and the other would Null. I will be checking in up until the deadline so I will move it back if need be, but:
The runoff will begin tonight at 6 PM EDR. I'm at work and may not be here at 6 on the dot, but I WILL NOT count any vote changes after then, and I will start the runoff ASAP after 6.

I tried man. A lot of people are still at work and cannot post. A 3 hour extension would be great, but worst comes to worst, we have a solid lead for Day 2
Provided MC allows the change to go through, In that case, we only need a roo voter to null and I will null to bring us back to a 4 person runoff including Bacon.
Also for the record, if anyone were to ever throw in a vote at, say, 5:59 if the deadline was 6, I would obviously extend the deadline an hour or two. I'm not gonna let anyone pull that ish in my game.
ok i'm changing to bacon, b/c i'm controlling this game. out of the four there, he is the one i'd most like to see gone. jhamm i also find suspicious but he is voting for bacon, so right now that is good enough in my book.
roo, i think your reasoning for voting bacon or viking is legit. i wonder if sometimes you just don't read carefully enough or what. try not to do that again i guess???
viking, i will say it again and again, you remind me of kdogg and i don't like it either. you would be my next vote after bacon. make sure you don't give me a reason to change.
