Thanks, I didn't know about the presale. Tickets purchased! MF-7 Row H! It kept putting me there, I was hoping it'd find a ticket in the center rows but I guess those already sold out.
I settled for MF-7 row F right after 10am. I tried from a couple of different laptops/IPs and all I got were MF-7s. I think they must have given them just that section for the presale.
They were weren't they. But the Bro behind me would not STFU.
EITS took my breath away. Did you notice the confetti that fell from the rafters? Bet it was left over from the Flaming Lips show & just now had a show loud enough to shake it down.

^^ So, so good. Both bands. "Zammuto" was the opener (?) Loved their home movies/Power Point vid -- but the music was pretty solid, too.
EITS were just flippin' awesome, as Druid noted. Just a Lone Star flag draped over an amp; two vocal mics that never get used; and three huge guitars always, amongst sparse percussion. Kinda like Mogwai, only more of a steady simmer than a boil. Also, almost symphonic at times (amp feedback, de-tuning, and effects pedals). Texas meets Sigur Ros.
I have about 20 promo posters left over for this show if anyone wants them. Free if you want to pick them up. Postal charge if I have to ship them. PM me if you want them. Wish I could have gone.
Same here! We were in the balcony to the right and there was a couple behind us that talked the entire time. My bf was going to ask them after the show was over why they even came at all, but they left early. Figures.
Last night was amazing! It was the 2nd time I've seen them, 1st time at Bonnaroo. Hope they come back to Nashville soon.
Not sure about Nashville, but at the Chicago show they kept saying "The Artist would like no flash photography or video" or whatever before the show. The ushers were very strict about implementing it.

^^ Ryman mgmt really doesn't like it -- at all. They tolerate a little bit, if you're crafty. But I've also seen people get escorted out in the past for being persistent. So I just don't press my luck down there.
Would NEVER wanna get shiz-listed at the Mother Church.

Pretty apt this show was in an old church. The shit was a religious experience.
I didn't take too many pictures, and the ones I took were mostly terrible. Not to mention there's not too much of a visual element to their show. It goes all in the ears.

We were in the balcony right hand side as well. My assholes finally shut up during EITS. If they had not my husband gave me permission to slam my purse upside their head.
Got no pics. I just don't bother at the Ryman when the ticket says not too. Those maroon triple knit polyester clad ushers will beat you down.
