A Friday night Atoms for Peace > Bjork on the main stage would be stellar. Less stellar will be when there are like 3 other acts I really want to see playing at the same time as Bjork.
Its weird, with Bonnaroo I HATE the unopposed headliner, because for the most part the headlining acts don't interest me and I wish there were other options. With Coachella, I HATE the opposed headliner, because for the most part I really like their headlining acts and will be pissed when I have to miss something cool.
Is there any other info that makes Hot Chip seem likely? I think a date in the States in April makes it possible that they COULD be at Coachella, but that's far from a confirmation.

Considering they'll be in South America from Mar 29 - Apr 7, followed by a random NYC date on Apr 9 is proof enough to me they'll be hanging around the states for Coachella. I'm sure a couple more US dates will be added once the lineup is released.
I mean if it were any other band than sure it might require more evidence to justify it but it's Hot Chip and it's Coachella. I'd say the info we already have is justification enough.
Also, if Alt-J isn't there I'll be furious. They are at the very top of my "I need to see this live immediately" list.
They have a break in their schedule starting in Feb, ending May 5 when a series of UK shows begin. I'd say a US headlining tour (Feb - Apr) is highly possible considering their Fall tour was simply support for Chairlift and Grouplove.

I agree with this. I picture them playing the Mojave during the Friday headliner, for some reason.

Coachella has gone and commented on a bunch of the Daft Punk posts. I'm on the fence as to whether or not that actually means anything, but leaning towards no.

But there were numerous Pearl Jam posts that Coachella DIDNT comment at all (or even "like").

Well I'd say we're about six weeks from the on sale. With the cruise happening Dec 16-23, they'll return to a flood of press which could possibly lead to one of the fastest sellouts to date IMO (which I assume will happen on Jan 11).
Which means we would see the lineup around Jan 6-7.

Coachella posted "Buy it, use it, break it, Fix it...", on someone's wall in response to "Daft Punk"! Basically just a simple reply to someone in the recommendation section on Facebook.
I was debating about going again this year, it's a bit of a hassel for me logistically but just reading the last few pages of this thread has changed my mind. The only thing that might suck a bit is how fast weekend one sells out, I'm pretty committed to Wannee as well so W2 just won't work this year.
