if superfly was in it just for the money, there would have been no reason for them to refund the 250+fees to all the extramooga customers, they could have just kept the money. .
It's also about making sure their first year wasn't deemed a failure and leaving a bad taste in people's mouths. As great of a gesture as it is to refund the people who paid (and it is an amazing gesture) it's also about protecting their brand and hoping that they can keep this going for years (and make more and more money).
i got there at about 3 so there was no time there when i saw a short line. also itrainmonkeys, did u go on sat or sun? i heard they fixed a lot of problems on sun, like having more food, and making all beer cash instead of the dumb buying beer ticket thing.

I went on Sunday and I think you're right about them making changes/fixes. The beer was all cash (but I think the Wine may have still been that googamoola BS). I can't imagine them having more food stands (like how do you do that on such short notice?). Some people I talked to said that they fixed some things from the day before but i'm not sure on the specifics.
i said more food, not food stands, the problem most of the stands were having was that they just ran out of food, and a lot of cell phones did not have service so they couldn't even call their home base to get more food brought to them.

Ahhh gotcha that makes sense then. The no cell service sucked too. Hard to meet up with people.
if superfly was in it just for the money, there would have been no reason for them to refund the 250+fees to all the extramooga customers, they could have just kept the money. they wanted people to have a good time, but since many of them were inconvenienced slightly they gave them a full refund, this was something that they really did not have to do but did it anyway.
