fIN is the record that keeps on giving. So, so, so good. Probably the top electronic album to come out this year, although it's in a tight race with Andy Stott.
Phi, a while back you mentioned (at least I think it was you) that the Photek "DJ Kicks" entry was worth checking out. I agree wholeheartedly, I really like it. Good work.
I think I recommended "KU:PALM" but whatever, I'll take it!

My buddy just had a short write up done on him by Earmilk. He's a pretty good friend, and I have trouble objectively assessing music when I have a connection to those making it. What do you guys think?

Haven't read through hear in a while but are all of you familiar with this? These guys had I think 2 EP's and only a handful of live gigs under their belt when they dropped this set.

If you guys need somethin' new (old) to listen to,
This dude's the best. First Floor is the only thing I've really dove into so far, but I'm excited to look into more. If you like Daphni/Four Tet I think you'll really like this.

So I'm currently reading,
and it's really great. He mentions a lot of different tracks as being particularly great though so I thought I'd share some here and see if anyone digs them. I pretty much have no idea about late 80s-early 90s electronic music, so I thought this would be a good way to learn and sift through, as the English would say, the rubbish.

I like that they talk about having the real instruments and figuring out more ways to add them to the show. Never heard of them before but want to look into them more now.
