NoD - Paul Kalkbrenner. Anything worth checking out?
Don't know anything about him. Is he playing near you?
I guess he's playing Coachella. People on the Coach boards are saying he's a Sahara act, and are then generally praising the fact that the few "confirmed" Sahara acts thus far are showing a much higher level of quality than those booked in the previous few years. So I'm guessing he's serious oontz, but not of the garbage fist pump variety.
April 12-14th - Indio, CA - Coachella Weekend 1
May 3-5th - Memphis, TN - Beale St. Music Festival
June 13-16th - Manchester, TN - Bonnaroo
July 12-14th - Louisville, KY - Forecastle Festival
August 2-4th - Chicago, IL - Lollapalooza
September 27-29th - Atlanta, GA - TomorrowWorld
October 25-27th - Asheville, NC - Mountain Oasis
Every lineup should be in alphabetical order. Always.
Wow really???
I absolutely HATE when a lineup is in alphabetical order. I tend to overlook headliners and larger acts. Harder for me to grasp the full depth of the lineup.

I've only watched the Paris one so far, but it was very well done. Looking forward to checking out Detroit and Berlin.
The Detroit one is pretty cool. I like when articles, documentaries, etc. try to paint an objective picture, not one that is dystopic and depressing (and likewise not misleadingly positive).

NoD (and others, but it's NoD's thread):
Help me expand my electronic music knowledge. It's just such a huge amount of material with dozens of subgenres, it's tough to really break into. I like lots of stuff, but I never know where to go next. Here are some things I like: - Burial - Underworld - Basement Jaxx - Chemical Brothers - Simian Mobile Disco - semi-electronic dance-rock stuff (Hot Chip, etc) - Hip-hop leaning stuff (araabMUZIK, Clams Casino, DJ Shadow, Cut Chemist) - Four Tet - Avalanches - Massive Attack/Tricky/Portishead/"trip-hop" in general ...and so on.
Based on stuff like that, where should I look next? My local record shop has a HUGE EDM vinyl section, I'd love to really start digging but I don't want to drop a ton of money only to find that I hate what I'm getting.
