Idio this is is awesome! This is a PERFECT example of how this board is more than just message board for fans, it really is a strong community. I love how BONNAROO loves us and trusts us. With things like Gary and Insider... the retweets we constantly get, etc. It's like-- we created a board and community dedicated to Bonnaroo where we sing its praises day in and day out, and Bonnaroo takes time to give back?!?! That's so awesome!
Now hearing this is making me reconsider Wakarusa. Damn I need a bonnaroo lineup NOW so I can make a decision. This is just way too cool.
I'm guessing we'll also probably get in early on Thursday to help direct people to their VIP Super Special Personally Fracking Reserved Inforoo Camping space.

Hmmm...if we have a "designated" area, then will we still need to meet up? Since no caravan will be necessary, do we just show up and have the parking peeps point us in the right direction? Pardon my cynicism, buuuuut...that approach sounds iffy at best. Maybe they'll be all uber-organized & it will be fine. But I'd rather meet up & roll in together, even if it's just a handful of us. The parking lot meet & greet is one of the highlights of my 'Roo weekend, and it just won't be the same if you're trying to pitch your tent when a long-lost VIPer rolls up. It's hard to hug peeps when you're struggling with your EZ-Up.
Plus, the reason we're able to achieve "Drink in Your Hand By Noon" is because we've all started setting up at roughly the same time because we entered en masse...
Just my two cents' worth... On second thought, it'll be fine. Ignore me: I'm already overanalyzing things. Who, me? OCD?
ive been asked to keep my conversation with the rep on the dl, but i will say the meet-up and coming in together is they way they seem to like it... the only difference is an "official" spot allows us to reserve some extra space for the stragglers.
since the majority of opinion here favors the "drink in your hand" approach anyway, we should be good.
i'll have to provide a car count at some point. i said we'd know more after the lineup announcement.

the frosting on the cake would be if they put us in a spot where the What stage would be visible from camp....not an impossibility given the setup...
now...how to smuggle in Mike D.................?
if this were the case i'd seriously considering coordinating with other people who have suv's to somehow arrange a way where we can have an on-top-of-the-car setup so we'd have a clear awesome view of the what stage + various other visible roo parts.
i'm not the best at engineering this type of stuff but i have the passion and drive to figure something out if anybody had any ideas.
