i really feel like you can make any clue refer to almost any act you want it to if you try hard enough. maybe gary just throws these at us without any band in mind, then finds an explanation he likes that fits a band he knows is on the lineup and confirms them....
Maybe he should give clues to bands that will *not* appear. This way he could limit clues to big, well known bands, and confirm when we've correctly guessed answers to clues about bands we can count out.

KATY PERRY?! alright so "performing cadaver": she used to be a christian rock artist under the name katy hudson, killed that persona and became katy perry "i am that i am": she used to be a christian rock artist "look to the eye of the storm": if think of the storm as the world of music, then what type of music is the biggest, most well promoted... Pop.

I'd say St. Vincent is most likely. The Eye of the Storm part seems especially fitting. I'd say Gaga is 2. Macca 3? We do need help...
Rob Zombie would be a much bigger name and a lot higher up on the bill than any of those other bands. I don't think he would be a headliner, but he would definitely be a sub-headliner. I just don't see that happening.
Also, he's busy right now directing his new feature film "The Lords of Salem". I highly doubt he will be playing Bonnaroo or any shows this summer.
counter-counter-argument: i don't think ashley capps has your taste in mind when choosing acts. that's like me saying i don't think phis will be there cause they suck. also not saying any of the bands i listed suck, i actually love them all (new opeth album sucked though, same with mastodon) but zombie could def be in the same spot gwar was in. i don't think he'd need a stage.

Zombie is playing Rock on the Range in May, so he might be doing other shows this summer.

ok ill get hate for this but... queen has supposedly signed a new front person. queen is a title and eye of the hurricane...like the lead singer being replaced? i dont know. yeah it would be fun but .....sorta fits?
I don't think performing cadaver would refer to a person's old age or frailness. That's not the style of the clues typically. I still think its a resurrected group, or a reunion.

That only got added (Cooper & Danzig on COS) due to an offhand and likely sarcastic quote from MJK (Tool/APC/Puscifer). I think it was from an interview with a TN newspaper stating that he wouldn't be there this year. COS's cred is laughable.
