I just can't get over the fact there's a place called the KFC Yum Center. Does it smell like fried chicken and mashed potatoes?
They have a huge bucket of chicken statue in one of the lobbies. It's called Yum! because the company that owns KFC,Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Long John Silvers, A&W etc. is called Yum! Brands and they're based outta Louisville. It's a damn good place to catch a concert though. I saw The Eagles on the venues opening night, and MMJ the following Halloween. The whole band came out for the encore dressed as the Colonel with buckets on their heads and played One Big Holiday.

That would have been a funny sight. I love MMJ's sense of humor. As for that statue, if I ever catch a show there I am going to have to have someone take a picture of me next to it.

My brother's A/V company has a contract with the Yum!Center. He has keys to the facility. Maybe we can work something out?

Bunch of us are seeing them in Atlanta in March. Think they will miss them the rest of the tour till June? Pretty sure we have enough places for them to stay here in Nashville until then. Obviously I get Thom.

Just wanting to inject some positivity onto this board concerning Red Hot Chili Peppers. I like Josh and I liked the new record better than anything they have put out since Californication. I'll be having a good time while the rest of you are sleeping or camping out or whatever. Mark me down as someone who is happy to have them.

I would like to point out that it is due to Bacon's utter FAILURE to keep RHCP's at his house for the Prince licking party that they will most likely be playing Bonnaroo Saturday night.
I thought there was a Proximity issue with Roo.. Like a band couldn't play within x (this) miles from Roo and x (this) days before...not 100% but thought it was something like that.
If we can find what (this) ^ is, we may be able to rule them out or not...anyone remember this?

Radiohead, prince, muse, chili peppers, etc...and they are lucky if they get 1 mill, but they normally only get 500 k
then you have third tier : snoop, dre, J z...they get 100 k
then you have 4th tier : black keys, munford byoncee, Prince etcc: they get 50k

A Red Hot Chili Peppers song played at work last night...I got irrationally mad, grumbled, and stomped away like a pouting five year old hahahaha *sigh* <but seriously, I didn't laugh
I just remembered something. Phish played in Atlanta on the 14th and 15th last year, and they weren't at Bonnaroo. That's kind of a a similar situation to this. I don't know, I still think RHCP will probably be there. But maybe not?
