I really hope its not Old Crow. They are just terrible. If I hear ever hear Wagon Wheel again itll be too soon.
Team tUnE-yArDs! That chick has soul just oozing out of her
Holy sh*t there is so much wrong with this post that I don't know where to begin. OCMS bad? TUnE YardS good? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.
my opinion is actually closer to Dyls. I don't think OCMS is bad but they aren't amazingly good. Talented band, but 'Wagon Wheel' has been played out so damn much for me that its started to piss me off whenever I hear it.
and TUnE Yards .... I dig their sound, but I definitely wouldn't say the girl has "soul oozing out of her" just because her voice sounds like a man's.
Both are moderately good, and I'd take both for Bonnaroo but would probably skip both their sets..
page 1. post 1. "Misspelled mini-liar = mini-lyre = banjo/mandolin/ukulele"
1. they have a song called "little tiger" with no dash in it at all. 2. how do you get mini-lion from somehow mispelling little tiger? (leading me to my third point) 3. A lion a tiger. They are completely different animals.
this solves nothing except the fact that you aren't capable of reading the OP.
the band name has a dash in it and so does the album name. I think hes just hinting at that cause it seems to play some part in the names they pick.
its not like most of the clues make complete sense... all he said was misspell the mini-liar.... people did think it was little lion man by mumford and sons... i dont see why he couldnt just mess with our heads to make us think about another animal in the jungle.
the mini-lyre theory also stands for tune-yards so all in all i dont think theres much going for old crow.

Simpleton is synonymous with a member of the crow family.. Original=old, going on the logic that anything original is more than likely also old.. So yeah first part of the clue looks more like Old Crow to me...
Just saw the same logic elsewhere, oops. this may be a stretch, but: David's Lyre is a small band (mini) that has covered old crow songs. The lead singer's father also practices medicine..
