It's that time again. I actually made a list (a short one) to help me.
1. Stop Smoking 2. Be healthier and exercise more.
I think both of these goals are attainable. I'm pretty excited about the fact that I'm going to stop smoking. I'm ready. It's been 20 years. I know it's not going to be easy and it's going to be an uphill battle but this isn't the first addiction I've fought and won. I've gone out and bought patches and if all else fails I'm going to the doctor.
What are you doing different next year?

I'm definitely going to start running and/or start biking more. I guess that should go hand in hand with quitting smoking for good, but that one is a lot harder.

I always set up really easy resolutions for the year, my last two have been to read more and to watch more good movies. I think this year will probably be to say yes to more invitations, I say no a lot.

The problem I have is I ride for leisure and have totally figured out how to smoke when I'm riding.
I've been running six days a week since May, and it's been the best thing I've done for myself over the past year.
I started running a lot this year too after never really having been a runner before. My goal is to enter some races once Spring rolls around, even if it's something as simple as a 5K.

Get my left leg better. Go see more shows. Try to give back more by volunteering. Lose weight (I laugh as I write that one) Not sugar coat things as much as I did last year Get back the money that is owed to me by several people.

I think about that sometimes when I'm running, but it's always ridiculous. Like I should probably train for a marathon or something, then I get to two and a half miles and I'm happy to be finished.

I'm going to quit smoking again. I quit for 5 years with the help of Chantix. I started smoking cigars in December of '10 and I am now smoking around half a pack of American Spirits a day. I also need to get back in the gym.
We are in the last month of our lease and are moving back in with my mother. It's sad and embarrassing because I'm married with 4 kids but it's something we have to do to get back on our feet. My oldest sons medical bills have buried us. We are going to fix it and hopefully own our first home by the end of the year.
