Should I be horribly embarrassed to admit that there was I time that I liked each of them? Probably, but I've done FAR more embarrassing things in my lifetime.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
Both are equally horrible. But I'm going with Nickelback purely based on the fact that they have proliferated every inch of the sad society around me. For some strange reason people where I live act like they're gods.

Creed is tolerable. Back before my taste in music matured I really liked their first album.
As for nickelback.. I think people are harder on them then they deserve, but I think it's fair because they've gotten WAYYYYYYYYYY more success and credit than they deserve. It's just such empty, mediocre bullshit.

Creed is the only option with a legitimately talented member in Mark Tremonti, so I went with that. I'm with LLL and had dark days where I might have counted myself a fan of either...
Well, they do both suck a big fat donkey d*ck, but if I were being held captive by terrorists and they forced me to pick one or the other, I guess I would go with Nickelback (uggghh, did I really just type those last five words? *twitch*) - I'll take my ear-piercingly shitty "music" without a side of fake Christian preachiness, thank you very much.

No shame! I definitely loved both when I was in middle school. I'm gonna have to go with creed as being worse though since I found out about all the religious propaganda in creed's music.

This debate sure ain't great. Pretty sure it's the same band with different mullet wigs. Surprised at how many folks on here have come out of the crapband closet. Anyways, my vote is still for Shrillex.

The hard rock station here in town used to have a commercial that was an "apology" for the percentage of music that they played between 1997-2000 that was Creed. And it was necessary. yuck.
11/2/19: Tool 5/17/19: Blues Traveler 5/9/19: Tool 11/10/18: Tenacious D 9/20/18: White Denim 7/23/18: Radiohead 6/4/18: Jack White 5/20/18: Tool 5/18/18: A Perfect Circle 5/18/18: Alice in Chains 5/6/18: Blind Melon
At least Creed has some kind of message, I guess? I mean, it's pretty much a bullshit gimmicky christian message, but it's better than just writing about drinking and partying and bitches.

Fuck it I like them both nothing like letting my mullet fly out the back end of my trans-am and scoop underage carhops from sonic there is a connection between Burt Reynolds and girls on skates but it eludes me? Oh shit that this guy I work with here in the great state of Kentucky! He thinks he is in Boogie Nights!

dont understand this debate. nickelback is everything that is wrong with society. when i think of nickelback, i think of the republican primaries. nickelback is worse.
