NMAS>EOTO anytime, anywhere. Even Helen Keller would agree on this
I used words like "I personally think" and "IMO" because my preference is to see EOTO late at night and NMAS earlier in the night.
But you used definitive words and referenced a blind/deaf woman so you must be right. My bad.
Settle down naw! :-) I think in the spirit of wanee and the style they go for, they kinda had to go w/ NMA to close this bad boy out. EOTO would have been fun, but NMA is more wanee's style.
I can appreciate that. I get it And I guess having Jamtronica LN every night isn't what everyone wants either.
Those 3 hour Furthur sundown sets are looking AWESOME to me... Thats what I am looking forward to!! (along with lots of other things)
Yeah dude, absolutely! And 2 solid ABB sets til midnight! This will actually be my first time seeing ABB and Further, so I am very stoked about it! Looking forward to catching Particle late night also! Very glad they scored that spot :-) but yeah, Further sunset has high potential to be very magical!
Edit: You gonna catch late night EOTO at the Keg for Hangout?

I think so. I am going to check the last hour of their show at Wanee and let that, and the exhaustion from the beach, guide me in making that decision.

Helen Keler feels the vibes brah, you can't deny the hettiness of NMAS.
You can see EOTO in between Furthur & ABB, it will be sundown by then. Official sunset is at like 7:50 or so according to a dude on Wanee boards. I personally like to maximize my festi experience by bouncing between stages quick as frack.

Are you camping at Short-cut?
Not sure honestly, hoping to get there bout 11ish on Thursday and we are gonna scope a couple spots. Maybe Short Cut, maybe Waneetopia, might just be somewhere random depending on how packed it is. When/where are you thinking bout posting up?
I will be getting there Thursday afternoon around 4 or 5 but I really don't know where. I guess it all depends on who answers their phone an who is at camp when I get there. I will definitely stop by short cut a few times if I'm not camping there to connect with some fellow inforoosters. How many are you coming in with?

Woohoo, Wanee is only a week away
me and the hubby will be rollin into SOSMP on Wednesday in time for the Engine Barn Happy Hour in our new Class A RV! We hope to land somewhere near the Bat House in Lot "B". Look for the "Mr. Roger's" flag flyin' high (representin' Roo )
Can't wait to see you Scrog at Short-Cut camp (bringing neon rainbow cupcakes and some cheese for the grilled sammiches) and meet some of you fellow Roosters....
Just woke up and checked the forecast. Yeah so I am a little antsy and obsessed. The forecast completely changed! High of 88 low of 60 Thurs/Fri/Sat, and 0% chance of rain!
That is great news! Now if the smoke would just blow out, and this forecast holds it will be PERFECT!

If anyone wants to go to Wanee but can't afford a ticket, please PM me. I may be able to get 2 people in for free. There are some details that would need to line up, but I have a connection with the Wine and Liquor distributor for the festival and there are some tickets that are going to go to waste unless they find a home.
Bruce Hornsby Buddy Guy roughly 5 rows back from the rail during The Allman Brothers on Saturday Zack Deputy popping up in a vendor tent to play a few songs including "Home" which he didn't play during his stage set
I have a foggy recollection of meeting Scrog and SouthGA? I think that happened.

WOW, What a weekend! The Mushroom Stage is all time favorite stage! That CB show was very emotional. Great times! Short Cut Camp(SCC) was a big hit. Fun to build and more fun to see the excitement in anybody who dared to walk down it. It was nice to meet you Mojo and your crew. Glad someone was able to watch that end of the trail. Surf, you did stop by one night. Glad you found us. Cindy, it was great to see you and Jim and Alice and Jeff. Glad you guys made it by! Those cup cakes were the BEST! So good, I shared some of them and they were a huge HIT!!! Dale, glad you stayed out the fire this year. Granted we only had a fire on the last night and you had already passed out before we started it, but still glad you did not fall into one. Thanks for your help Dale! and Kerri and Mojo for helping returning the forest to it's natural state. (aka-no glow sticks) Which should be known for future campsite, I run a no-trace-left-behind site. That means clean up your shiz! That was not a problem at SCC, but other sites around us, not so much.

Wanee 2012 was awesome.
Scrog - thanks for taking a full video of your SPECTACULAR Short-cut! I hope my nite-time video will brighten up a bit so that I can post it too. I thought it was so beautiful during the day, and then the nite-time version came. Glad my melted face was hidden from the camera. Definitely a memorable highlight!
Dale - so glad to meet you. See ya at Hangout next month!
