I think Pinkerton is probably Weezer's most polarizing album. seems like everyone I know either loved or hated it, no middle ground. there's some good tracks, to be sure, but for me it will always be The Blue Album. of course, it may be more to do with who I was when it came out... I was a disaffected middle schooler, and man, that tape was played endlessly on my Walkman. way off topic, one of my fave performances ever was Weezer roo 2010. the "Kids"/"Poker Face" cover was amazing.
