Am I actually listening to my own album? Yes I am. Is this also a shameless plug for my new album? Yes it is. It's on spotify for all you nerds.
Yes, yes I did. I enjoyed it, Split in Two was the highlight for me. A lot of other fun tunes in there too. Like you said it's pretty much a straight forward rock album, which isn't a bad thing. I need to give it another listen though to fully digest it. Thanks for sharing.
Anyone actually listen to this yet? I'd love to hear what people think. It's pretty much just some straight forward rock for those who are into that.

Thank you! I get a lot of good feedback on Split in Two, I think it's too poppy, but I like it.

I felt like the coda/instrumental part of The Lake sounded like it could have been the start of a Neil Young Jam. I think the bass was mixed a little low; there were some cool lines in there, but they were buried under the guitar. The guitars have a nice overdriven tone, but they are a bit trebly and I got a bit of listener fatigue near the end of it, I think a bit more bass would have helped round out the spectrum a bit. Medium Song may have been my favorite.

I re-listened and Medium Song is my probably my favorite now. I also like the punk rock vibe on Stay. I also love the scream in the first song, but I wish screaming was utilized more throughout the album. It works well with the sound, but that could just be me.
The scream reminded me of Brainiac for some reason, something about that tone. I can't remember what song though. I may have to re-visit Brainiac now.
