I haven't heard of 95% of the bands in this thread.
me either. and as a result i've been enlightened to so much good music. if i come in here and i see the same album posted like 834723049 times, i assume it's probably at least OKAY....

I tell people when they first come in to start sampling stuff here and there from various regular posters. Eventually, you will start to figure out who you have some tastes in common with and who you don't. That way, you get a higher success rate with finding albums you can really get into.
