John Frusciante – Shadows Collide With People (2004)
Really all of his solo work is outstanding – particularly the run of records from 2004 (The Will To Death, Inside of Emptiness, DC, and Curtains are among my favorites) – but nothing touches Shadows Collide With People. It’s definitely his most fully-realized work and shows his obsessive nature at composition and arrangement. It’s really got something for everyone – from the punk-rock tinged “This Cold” and “Second Walk” to the electronica closer “The Slaughter.” Get it. It’s awesome.
What you got back home, little sister, to play your fuzzy warbles on? I bet you got little save pitiful, portable picnic players. Come with uncle and hear all proper! Hear angel trumpets and devil trombones. You are invited.

I'm really enjoying this Spotify playlist right now. It's all the Domino artists who played Primavera. I'm almost positive everyone of these people have been mentioned in the thread before: Tame Impala, Local Natives, Matthew E. White, Mac Demarco, Savages, Jessie Ware, Fuck Buttons, Thee Oh Sees, How To Dress Well, etc.
