That's great! I spent most of January not drinking - I would have a drink or two if out on a weekend maybe, but nothing more than that - and I felt so fantastic.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
I can't be the only person who looks up symptoms of their illness/pain online and then becomes convinced that they are going to die. ex: WebMD says a cough can be anything from allergies to lung cancer. My reaction: call everyone to my bedside and update the will.
Doctors sat that the internet has become their worst enemy because people always come in convinced that they've some live threatening disease and they think they know everything about what course of action should be taken, like what tests they should do and method of treatment and what not. I was pre-med so I know not to bother with it because it's almost always wrong and just makes people panic. If it's not a simple physical angry (sprained ankles, etc.) I leave it up to a licensed physician to make the calls.
So last night I was cockblocked because the girl I was with got her period. Okay, no big deal, it happens. Except this was in a dream, and I've reached a new level of pathetic.
That's one of the saddest things I've ever heard.
In other news. Unlimited data is going to be worth every penny I pay for it this week. God, jury duty is awful.
I used to work at Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure
If I get into UCF THIS is my dream job. I want to work at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Seriously. It's the biggest selling point of getting into UCF for me.
I think was discussed a bit early on the Dumpster Fire and I believe you said the same thing. It is pretty great working there, I personally loved working and would still be doing so if it hadn't been for a tragic accident. I know many people who work in both Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley (my favorite of the two) and it's really cool to be walking around this land that you only see in movies and to run into wizards that you know, it makes it feel even more so like I'm a character in the films because most people just meet people there, but I have full conversations and we know each other's names and we always joke around and act like I'm a wizard too. I truly LOVE all of Universal Studios, just walking around the streets of NYC and San Fran and Springfield, I'm as happy as can be when I'm there.
Btw, if you work at USO, when it comes around Halloween, you can work Halloween Horror Nights for a month or so instead of your regular job, so it's a nice change of pace.

Seriously sounds like a dream come true for me. And yes, this was mentioned and moderately discussed in the dumpster fire during all the Florida talk. Can you apply to work in one part of park? I mean, I guess anywhere would be fun, but my goal in life is to work in WWoHP. I haven't been to Diagon Alley yet, but I've heard it's amazing. If it's anywhere near as amazing as Hogsmead then im sure it's spectacular.
Sorry. I'm totally nerding out right now. The idea of me dressed up in robes running around Hogwarts all day has me seriously giddy.

I like Diagon Alley a lot more than Hogsmead because the walls are so high and the alley is narrow and there's stuff over your head so it makes you feel like your really in Diagon Alley. But that's intentional because Hogsmead feel like a town (which it is) and Diagon Alley feels like being downtown in a big city, I just prefer Diagon Alley's feel more. Though, the ride in the Hogsmead/Hogwarts section is better than the new one in Diagon Alley IMO. And yeah, the way I started working there works different because I started with horror nights and then stayed on afterward so I went where I wanted because I had connections already. But, I feel like you can definitely apply for WWoHP specifically. Let me warn you now, getting hired right off the bat in to that section is no walk in the park, I think they are quite selective for a lot of the roles. But I'm sure if you're as passionate as you seem about it, you'll get in no problem.

I'm pretty sure there are very few things I wouldn't do to work there. Dr. Seuss world or whatever would be my second choice. But even that is a distant second.
Edit: are there any strict tattoo policies there? I know Disney bass very strict appearance policy. No bold nail color or hair color, no visible tattoos and you have to have a "wholesome" appearance. I looked on universals website for this kind of stuff but couldn't find anything. I assume they do have a no visible tattoo policy, which makes me sad because I do have one. Though, it could totally blend right in. It's a triquetra on my left wrist.
I just signed up a handful of people to receive this catalog in the mail.
I just signed my mom up under the name Anne-ilingus. She has signed me up for things under embarrassing names my entire life. I know this post was pages and pages back but I wanted to share. I'm way too excited about this.
I had this stuff for the first time this weekend. It was so sweet/yummy! It's exactly what I imagined butter beer to taste like. Next time I'm going to have it as a float to really up the 'betes.

I'm so glad you did. I just put in my request. I'm so excited.

Well until I can have the real deal, I'll enjoy the cheap impostor
you've got enough money to go to 18 festivals, 72 concerts, and take two-week long vacations and you can't spare a dime for some friendz?
Come on, you witnessed this in chat last night. Sharing and logic aren't her strong suits.
I literally just lol'd in a very quiet jury pool room.....
And smelly, Harry Potter, sunshine and me..... How the hell is that not enticing enough? The BMOTM is just the cherry on top of an already fantastic sundae.

I'm not sure any of my friends that work at Universal have college degrees. You may as well just skip the UCF part and go straight to the hiring center at Universal.

It's be a part time job while I attends grad school. However, if the pay is right, is be fine being a career wizard.

Disney also has a night rave* thing every once in a while. At least they do at Disneyland. Idk about Dismeyworld.
Regardless.... Orlando get away?????
Seriously. Im about to see how much this would cost me and see if I can do this for my secondary vacation now. I make such terrible decisions. At least when you bought your hangout ticket you were drunk. I'm just bored.

ps. watching your mobile typos is cracking me up.
Rave* thing. Oops. And I know. I can't text or type for shit. I blame autocorrect for some of these tho. I think the other problem is I just text too fast so I don't really pay attention to what actually gets typed out.
Oh. And congrats on the international title. I'm proud of you.
There needs to be a ban on hipster fucks who think they can be insulting and then call me "B" or "brother" like they know me. I nearly knocked out this fisherman looking fuck at a music store while postering for the street team on Saturday. Just letting everyone here know that there are no "REAL" musicians at Bonnaroo only that fake bleep bloop electronic crap that takes "no talent". (This is where the fuck you dude in me came out and I nearly clocked him in the mouth). Remember guys everything not jazz is electronic crap and takes no musical skill or dedication. And not appropriated at all from black and minority cultures that then formed further in reference to the tools that can be afforded by the musically talented.
