Eggnog is back! I just had my first taste of the season.
Barbers is the best!
I don't think we have Barber's here. I had my first serving a couple weeks ago. Egg nog is the only part of Christmas that is acceptable to show up before Thanksgiving.

Barber's is a Birmingham company. Figured you would get that in Tennessee. I do agree on eggnog being the only acceptable Christmas staple being acceptable before Thanksgiving. I am really surprised I haven't heard Christmas music being played in the grocery store already.

Ah. We have Mayfield's here which is a dairy in Athens. They probably break such things up on a regional basis because most stores here have the store brand milk, Mayfield's and nothing else.
P.S. That is 500 posts. Please return to the Secret Santa thread.

Anyone want to take a stab at these clues that were recently tweeted for a lineup announcement.
The announcement is for night two of our local radio station's (KROQ) xmas festival.
The clues are as follows: 1)Abracadaver 2)Alcoholocaust 3)The Fear Nipples
This is for a December 8th 2013 and the following bands are ruled out because they are playing night one: Kings of Leon, Queens of the Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys, Vampire Weekend, Foals, Cage the Elephant, Grouplove, AFI, and New Politics.
...so my best guess for the clues:
1. The Hives (they have a song called Abra Cadaver) 2. Bush (There is a real band called Alcoholocaust that have a song named 'Machinehead', also a Bush song) 3. ??????????
I am awake early and bored. Any ideas on The Fear Nipples as a lineup clue?!?! Official announcement coming in 5 hours.

Holy shit......I've been hearing this name pop up recently (The Yellow Dogs) but hadn't heard the music. Anybody a fan of the band? Such a sad, messed up story.
Truer words haven't been spoken, it's an honor to be mentioned by you Crow's Eye. Love your sarcasm.
Who was being sarcastic? I'm serious, that's how I got through most of my college courses.
Oh I know you were being serious, I completely agree. The morning bowl is what gets me through my 8 am's... I was referring to your other posts throughout inforoo, very humorous.

All I can think of for #2 is Pete Doherty - raging alcoholic, and The Libertines had a song called Arbeit Macht Frei. But I am usually hilariously wrong on most of the Roo clues, so take this with a few grains of salt.
You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.
If you're gonna nail your balls to the street, human rights is up there with the best of reasons. He apparently sewed his lips together to demonstrate against the jailing of Taco Flower Riot.
