Here's a picture. It'll probably help more than my description would. The Mayfield variety comes solid, and you have to let it melt a little then break it up to make it right.
So what is the Mayfield Snow Cream made of? Do they make their own snow?
Dave, the first ingredient is water. That doesn't help.
You say that like you are surprised that Snow Cream's first ingredient is water.
Also, I would like to point out that everyone who has actually had it (me, JHo, steph and banshee) likes it whereas all the haters have not.
I know what snow is made of...I am just having a hard time visualizing how the factory does it. Do they have a snow making machine? And I'm not hating it! Like I said, I think it's adorable

Like I said previously, Mayfield's is much more solid coming out of the box than it would be at your house. My assumption is that the mix everything together than pour it into the box and freeze it in there, or at the least, have it very close to frozen when they package it then freeze it the rest of the way.
Ok so Amanda Shires is Jason Isbell's wife. At certian facial expressions, all I could think of was that she reminds me of abrakapokus. Anyone else see it?
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

When I first started watching, I started with the reboot. Christopher Eccleston as the Ninth Doctor. I sprinkle in some classic episodes once in a while.
All the classic episodes are on Netflix now, so you could start at the very beginning if you wanted.

I'm not hating on the concept of snow cream, which is really just ice cream but substituting milk for cream. Its the idea of picking some dirty ass snow off the ground and using it to make ice cream that I'm hating on.
LOL, I sincerely doubt anyone is eating "dirty ass snow". Have you honestly never eaten snow in your life?

That is steep. I love those small venue shows though. I don't often pay that much for shows that aren't festivals. I'm tempted to see The National and Tame Impala on the same bill for that price. They are afterall both considerd two of the top 50 live acts right now by Rolling Stone's panel of voters.

1) Actual ice cream doesn't usually have ice in it, Dr. Joe. 2) I am astounded at the references to eating snow with animal feces, urine, dirt and road salt in it. Why would anyone ever think someone would do that? The easiest way to procure said snow is to look at the forecast, find when it is going to snow, put a bowl on your porch and wait for the snow. Wait a little and voila, snow.
Edit: I forget that James has only been in nature like twice.

Yeah, we would put out a bowl on the back porch and make it when I was a kid (before we had that giant snow when I was in eighth grade that apparently used up all the snow because it hardly ever snowed after that).
Tedeschi Trucks band is coming to town but $55 bucks seems a little steep to me. Anybody else?
I would be all over that. But I love those guys and I'm like a trillionaire. Money means nothing to me.
That being the case, wouldn't you like to buy me and my boyfriend a house when we move? There are some amazing deals in Vegas right now. You could get us well set up for less than $200,000.

Cool places as it were in Detroit for less than 10K. I still say we should all go up there and buy a couple of blocks. cr****

I spent like an hour one night looking at houses in Detroit on Zillow because I was fascinated by the prices. But I don't have a job in Detroit, and even if I had fully paid housing, my student loan payments require that I have full time employment.
