How in the hell did he keep his cool? I would immediately call off a relationship over something like that. She totally deserved to be recorded and posted online. Maybe that video will open her eyes up to how unreasonable she was.
She woulda been taken to the lake alright. Two words, Cement Shoes.
What is this, the first non-MLB/NFL video to be taken down off the entire internet in an hour?
I have a feeling the guys wife filed a persuasive, if not legally enforceable, take down notice with her husband.
Oh, I don't doubt she belittled her gonad-less significant other into doing what she wants, but this is the internet we're talking about. I can go check out naked Scarlett Jo if I wanted to, even though those were supposed to be taken down.

It's really a shame though that the person who you should be able to love, trust, be your most vulnerable to, ya know, your spouse, is the one shaming you on the internet. They are both very immature and probably shouldn't be married because they obviously have issues. He signed up for it though. That's what marriage is about, the good, the bad, the ugly, and dragging your spouse's bad behavior out into the public for the whole world to see is just as bad as her throwing that bizarre hissy fit. If you respect your spouse, your marriage, you don't broadcast your private affairs to the world.
Marriage takes alot of emotional maturity, forgiveness, and hard work. I've known alot of marriages that have struggled with addiction, emotional/mental illnesses, yada yada, and they are still together today, probably because they quietly worked through it.

Totally agree. It'd be one think if he had recorded it for himself and his friends just to show people that he wasn't exactly "the crazy one" I guess (although that still wouldn't be noble, exactly), it's another to record it and immediately post it to YouTube for the whole world to see. That's just vindictive and a violation of trust.

The link ITM posted has a little excerpt that's supposedly from the guy in the video. Apparently that little episode was the straw that broke the camel's back, so to speak. He's filed a restraining order and moved out, so that might be a little revenge after dealing with that sort of thing for years.
Clearly neither person in the video is mature and probably will be doomed in their next marriage, if they're lucky enough to have one.

Wow, a restraining order. I didn't watch that video. The first, before it got taken down, kinda made me feel sick.
Like "honey boo boo" kinda sick. Repulsed at myself for watching.

Fun fact: You are liable to be banned from my apartment for the mere mention of "honey boo boo" or whatever the f*ck people actually call that awful, sugar-fueled hellspawn.

There's only one video. The link I posted has some text for context and points out something the husband supposedly said.

I just tuned in twice (and not for full episodes) to try and determine what the hell is the appeal with that show? Why do people watch this? Do they just put anything on TV and people tune in? Cause I have ideas for show then!
If anyone can tell me what the appeal is with shows like honey boo boo, duck dynasty, the kardashians, I would really appreciate some insight here.

There's a surprising amount of people who "hate-watch" shows now. Meaning they watch shows just so they can bitch about the stuff on them and talk about how dumb/ridiculous it is.

That could definitely be part of it: with honey boo boo, yes, I am to blame there. But I don't think I have ever seen a full episode of any the shows I mentioned.
I know some folks who love Duck Dynasty and Jersey Shore and stuff like that, except they don't talk about how dumb they are. They say it's really entertaining stuff ???
I feel my brain cells declining when I happen to catch 5 minutes of TV shows.
I'm actually considering ditching TV all together. I just want HBO for Boardwalk and True Blood (guilty indulgence).

I used to do that when my ex g/f made me watch shows, but then I ended up liking all of them. Kind of a weird feeling when everyone jokes about you being the guy who "hates Gossip Girl" when you secretly love the show.
Yeahhhhh, I said it. JUDGE AWAY, ALMIGHTY JUDGERS.

Just to throw in some positive vibes..... "Woke up, got out of bed, dragged a comb across my head." If you can say that, it's at least off to a good start. Some people don't have beds or combs. (And me my head but that's different) cr****

Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Duck Dynasty is amazing; rednecks with money any day of the week. (and yes it's the most manufactured reality show in quite some time -- but it's so genuinely fake it's adorable).
In chat recently, we went on a MTV's Next spurt = now that's devoid of any intelligence. And now I don't feel as guilty for enjoying 'I Love Money', 'Rock of Love', 'Flava of Love'... b/c there was no hate-watching, everyone was in on it.
Don't feel bad about True Blood because I still watch Dexter, and it's time to put that horse down.

Reading this as Kevin Garnett would have been much easier.

Has it dropped off that much? I'm on season 6 right now and it seems to be getting better. I at least like it better than 5 so far.

Made me think of a Jason Isbell lyric off the new album.
you should know compared to people on a global scale our kind has had it relatively easy and here with you there's always something to look forward to our angry heart beats relatively easy
Because i know the power of this group I ask...does anyone here have a place in Maine that some friends could use for a short vacation. They're in their early 30's and he has stage 4 cancer. They got married to get on insurance, etc. and never had a honeymoon. We're wrangled some frequent flyer miles to get them there. If you can help shoot me a note please.
