Funny you should say that - the first thing I thought of was you, GL, and Gibran. Other than Mrs. Gadling, my friends and acquaintances IRL wouldn't want to go - hell, they've never even heard of Jessie Ware or Tame Impala. If I decide to give them all away - stand by. And be nice to me in the meantime...
I'm curious which shows they are. Let me take a stab at it: Tame Impala, Jessie Ware, Alt-J, Purity Ring, aaaaand...Desaparecidos?
Oh man - great try. Tame Imapla, Jessie Ware, Alt-J, Punch Brothers (w/Anais Mitchell), and Local Natives. I wanted to do Purity Ring but we can't do back to back shows - and we just saw Conor so took a pass on this go round of Desaparecidos.
Give em away. I was sent an extra RV pass last year for Roo. Best believe we used that sumbitch to just have tent people staying on sight with us.
The caveat here is that they may be someone else's tickets. However, I would imagine that if these people do not get their tickets in the mail, they will be call and be given another set?
Yeah - my inclination is to give them away - I don't think it would screw anyone out of real tickets. Trying to work through the morality of the whole thing - is it stealing? The one thing I won't do is sell them.
Nah. Look at it as a "thank you" for paying service charges.
Is your name listed on the bottom of every ticket? Are all the serial numbers different?
So my name is on the bottom of every ticket and the order # on the front of the ticket is the same for every one. There is a number printed on the back and those are all different, but I don't know what that number is for.

Is there a number under the barcode on the right? I'd figure that'd be the important one, they'd need to all be different to scan. I think the number on the back is printed on the ticket before the barcodes are assigned.

About 20 boys in the eighth grade were allegedly made by a teacher to clean the restroom with toothbrushes and industrial strength cleaner after graffiti was discovered in one of the school restrooms. The teacher took cell phone pictures of them while they were cleaning, and two kids got sprayed in the eyes with the cleaner by other kids.
To double the cray, the facebook comments on this story are largely positive calling for, in more than one comment, a raise for the teacher and , in another, lamenting the lack of a "rear end busting" in addition to the cleaning.

Ah. Yes, the number below the barcode is different on every ticket. So looks like they're not dupes of one set, but definitely 5 sets of tickets.

Contact if you get charged within this next week? I'm sure if there is an issue they will reimburse you + (as long as your bank isn't greedy) should give you back your overdraft if all sides agree it was a mistake.

To clarify, I get a bonus every year, this one was just huge and accompanied by a "if you don't f*ck this up, you're going to be really successful in this company" speech.
Also, f*ck you, hangover. My boss needs to stop opening holiday gift liquor bottles and seeing if we can finish them.
Does your company operate out of a bar, flanzo? Just curious.
Hah, no, for 11 months it's the most serious no-fun having place (that I find ways to make amusing). But December is just a useless month since it's holiday party after holiday party (part of the excitement is I get to be part of the group that gets shmoozed this year by clients, contractors, etc.) and all of my subcontractors give me gifts for putting up with their bullsh*t all year. Those gifts are almost always nice bottles of liquor, and my boss decides they should be drank at work since they are work gifts.

Does your company need any sound guys? ;D

They pulled Foster The People's song "Pumped Up Kicks" from radio-play following the Connecticut school shooting. Apparently it's okay to sing/play songs about school shootings except after it actually happens.
I don't find the song offensive or anything. It's just interesting how these things work sometimes.

I was surprised Comedy Central didn't make a similar move and pull the Colbert Report rereun last night in which Colbert complains about how New York didn't have a murder for an entire day and tells his fans to rise up in violent protest.

In the days after the shooting ESPN wasn't using the words pistol or shotgun in football games, which is ridiculous

Nah it makes sense on two levels: (1) other then the Muhammad incident for South Park, they want to be cutting edge in allowing profanity and not censoring. (2) Colbert's statement is a combination of factors -- stronger gun enforcement in NY, programs like cash-for-guns, and social programs -- have lowered gun violence in the city. It's a facetious remark or do I have to refer you to "Sweetness" here:

Kesha's new single "Die Young" has also been yanked from a ton of radio stations.

Of course it's facetious, but his previous, non-facetious calls-to-arms have proven effective. In a recent, out-of-character interview, he said his staff actually has serious discussions about what to call on his fans to do since they, you know, tend to do it. Still, I think most of his core audience is smart enough to understand the joke, but it was still a little jarring to watch given recent events.
