I was up in Canada for a couple days and on the way back they searched my car. I was crazy tired and hungover so kept yawning as the agent asked me questions. He told me to stop yawning and when I did it again he almost exploded. It was funny.
Did Miffy take you to that coffeeshop where people shoot tequila at 10 am? Id be hungover too.

So I'm going to Hulaween on Thursday and of course I'm beyond excited! 3 of my festival friends are making the trip and this is the only time I'll be able to see the 3 of them at the same time this year. This wknd is the only time I'll be able to spend time with 2 of them =D
Now here's the weird part. My boss is the uncle of my ex, who we've stayed as friends. I can stand her in bits, but she's Kardashian level drama. She's nosy and just someone I wouldn't want to be around while doing festival stuff cuz she doesn't have the best of vibes. On top of all that, she's recently single, which is good cuz her and her ex ended up in jail due to dui's and beating each other. I'm hoping against hope something comes up and she doesn't want to go. I really enjoy my job, so I just can't just risk telling her I don't want her camping with my group.
On top of that, I randomly msg'd this girl on FB last week that custom makes and sells hoodies for fun. I asked if she was bringing any to hula that she'd like to sell. Long story short; she got into a car accident, her and her fiance broke up and most of her stuff is here and there so she's not making any hoodies atm. We've hit if off really well and we're goin catch some shows together.
I know it's a bit cruel to say, but I just really don't want my ex around. I was able to use logistics as an excuse not to travel together for Roo and my friend and I had a great time. Meanwhile, one of the camps that had the displeasure of being my ex's neighbors at Roo actually moved due to all the drama they caused. She's arriving at hulaween a day after I'm getting there. Her & I broke up nearly 3 years ago.
I could really use advice/suggestions on this dilemma.

So, my boss is lending me The Dark Tower series since I've never read it. I'm on book two and have been noticing, what I believe are, an ungodly amount of typos. But then I start thinking they're on purpose because of the differences in speech between Roland and the gang, and any editor worth a damn would surely notice that many typos.
Someone knocked on my door at 2am yesterday. I know how horror movies start, so there was no way I was going to open the door.
I am with you on this. I have these really cool wireless, motion sensor cameras (arlo) that we setup, since usually that 2am knock is from my psycho neighbor trying to sell me drugs; but I get panic attacks and being able to look at the cameras before assuming it is a serial killer has stopped panic attacks in their tracks. Loud, obnoxious chihuahuas surprisingly do not help ease panic attacks.

I'm so confused/frustrated.
It's been a while since I last read them, but he does use a lot of dialect and made up words throughout the series.

I dont remember the typos but I do remember finding the second book frustrating (and honestly the first one was a pita too but it was worth it).
