Yo, I'm looking for a cheap place to crash in Raleigh, NC on July 17th-18th that isn't super sketchy. Anyone from around that area or that has visited have any suggestions?
While I'm not from Raleigh, I've spent a considerable amount of time there. That show is at the Lincoln (which is downtown). I'd stay at the Days Inn. It's like $70-ish a night and totally walkable from the club. There are some GREAT food options, too. My favorite being Beasley’s Chicken & Honey and the Busy Bee Cafe. I can't wait till September and Hopscotch season to go back.
Hope that helps a little. Congrats on that show. I'm seeing J here a few days later.
Thanks, man. I was looking at the Red Roof Inn - the reviews on Trip Advisor surprised me. Apparently it's a RRI that isn't super sketch. I'm going to look at the Days Inn, though, because walking would be preferable.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
The Sylvan Esso show im going to this evening is outside and the weather is PERFECT. I'm so happy the weather gods have decided to cooperate for it.
You should bring a rain jacket just to be safe. There's a decent chance of showers and thunderstorms from the DC area southward later this evening, with steadier, heavier rain likely moving in between 10 pm and midnight.
thanks gals. i'm so particular about things that i never know if other people get as excited by clean, organized things as i do. there are many more to come, as i finish up the living room and move to the laundry room next week.
It is seriously one of my favorite things! I love organizing and cleaning! Keep them up!

Ah, gotcha. Well then have fun and enjoy the dry weather!
the people who lived in my place before me were horrific smokers (the walls were covered in nicotine stains, the carpets had burn marks). last year, i decided to rip up the living room carpet because it was so stained and was holding in the cigarette smell. i was planning to use my tax refund money to redo the wood floors, but of course other things came up and i had to use my saved money. after a year of living with the paint splattered wood floors, i'm finally redoing them! the entire contents of my living room are in my kitchen, i've pulled every remaining staple out of the floor, and i'm renting a sander tonight. wish me luck, and i apologize for the abundance of additions to my snapchat story while i'm in the process of spring cleaning/organizing/renovation.
I'm missing reno snaps? Please add me, same name as here

Chik fil a can go suck it. The last thing this world needs more of is that bigot of a ceo they have. People like him make me cringe when I get asked what part of the country I'm from. Haven't eaten there since his remarks went vital.
I know the list was confined to restaurants, but it's almost a shame Publix wasn't honorably mentioned. Also, I'm somewhat surprised Checkers wasn't mentioned. Their burgers are pretty good, and they have the best fries in drive thru for a mass chain by far.

Thanksssss waiting for them to come on now! Kinda wish I had taken some ECs for this - the weather is perfection, and the vibe of the crowd is great. Ah well it'll be fantastic kinda tipsy too

We just got a Chick-fil-a and a Checkers here in my town. It's great.

my 40-year old coworker who looks maybe 30: "I CANT KEEP UP WITH KIDS AND YOUR LINGO!"
This all day. I had never heard slam piece before yall brought it up.
This blows my mind. All my frat bro friends in college always said it and that was like five or six years ago. Granted they said it without any irony so it wasn't as endearing as when Inforoo says it but still... I'm stunned no one has heard that phrase.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
