"I'm sorry Sydney. I'm sorry I've bothered you for so long. I'm sorry. I'll leave you alone now. I just really thought that I was what you were looking for."
I'm really concerned for this guy now. Poor guy. OH, and his name is Josh, she actually told him "I'm not just Joshin, no pun intended."

Never considered myself a rap fan and then last night someone showed me Fallon & Timberlake doing 4 or 5 versions of the "History of Rap". Scary that I knew 90% of the songs and more than half of the artists.
Godzilla was badass! I'm such a dork about Godzilla :)love those old corny movies soo much
That's good to hear. I work thru the weekends til midnight.. I'm waiting til Monday to go see it. It looks intense! and then Days of Future Past comes out next Friday! Gotta see that one!

I am not ashamed to say that by watching it constantly, I broke a VHS of Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla in my youngish years.
Sh!t; now I want a quesadilla.
I think once you're living life properly, you realize that you should basically always have Mexican food. And real Mexican, not that "mega-chain" or Taco Bell crap. I'm talking hole-in-the-wall restaurants that literally have holes in the wall, border a gas station, where you realize you should have paid more attention in Spanish class. It's like heaven. Everything comes in ridiculous portions, covered in sliced avocado, and what you *thought* previously was a taco is now a shameful reminder of how white-bread your life used to be.

As far as work goes, I am the boss. For those who know music, I tell them what's up...the rest get the "camping" or "gonna be in TN, don't call me". My problem is that all of my friends (boring family folks...wife, kids, etc.) think I'm too old (46) to be partying like a rock star. Personally, I think the men are jealous because I got balls enough to tell the wife I'm headin' out solo. (Whole family in on Firefly though...because its only 45 min away and she's in on Coachella for next year)
I just wanted to take a moment to give a shoutout to a couple peeps: to roro, for having a great sense of humor and always making quality contributions - between your posts on here and your snaps, I think you're a pretty cool person and somebody I'd probably enjoy being around. And I like your hair.
And to crippledcamel for being a new poster who doesn't seem to be a dick or an idiot. That's a rare find around here; stick around. Though to CC I will say: beware the ready to mingle thread. I'm not saying don't post there, but...beware.

Haha thanks @jazmo. I was telling someone the other day how I was reluctant to join because usually in forums there's a bunch of trolls and too many overly opinionated people.. But everyone has been very nice and pleasant! (What I would come to expect from a Bonnaroo forum). I wish I could join the Traveling Roosters! I probably won't be getting on the farm until early morning Thursday (4am) tho but I plan on going to Brunch and the Group Photo! Hope to meet a lot of ya'll this year.
at coachella i like to stay away from people, rarely making new friends. but this year at roo, i think its time I come out my shell and get to know you nice people:)

Hey, thanks! Very cool of you to say. We'll have to meet up on the farm. I've enjoyed your snaps, too. My kids worked hard to turn my hair gray -- I'll let them know their work is appreciated!

Oh trust me, we have our overly opinionated (and occasionally unnecessarily nasty) people. Just wait until the '15 headliner thread gets going.

I understand this completely. It took me a couple years to warm up to really meeting people at Roo. Do it ASAP. I have met most of my closest friends thanks to Inforoo and Bonnaroo.
thing is, i live in vegas so its not the easiest to connect with folks you only see 4 days a year. I am more than willing now to fall in and become another proponent of the roo vibes. Last year was quite overwhelming considering the sheer professialism i saw in every act and how it was acts i truly loved. thanks for the advice, im bringing 4 noobs this year so on top of showing them how to roo i will also be doing my best to meet new folks. Should be damn good.
sidenote, i think after combing through inforoo for a year before i made an account. I saw your MMJ signature on plenty of occasions and could have been part of the reason I knew i had to familiarize myself with them. So......thanks for that too
