I want to re-watch both The Sopranos and The Wire when I can find some time. Also want to re-watch Deadwood as well.
Deadwood is on the list as well. It's really more of a decision between whether I dive into Sopranos or Mad Men first since those are the two that I catch the most grief about.

Sopranos. Easy.
Sopranos - I actually found Mad men to be kinda boring and annoying
I don't know if this is okay to ask (mods, please delete if not), but does anyone wanna let me use their Angie's List account for like 10 minutes? I'd really appreciate it.

I don't have one so can't help out but is there any reason why you couldn't make your own account?

I'd have to pay for that, which I'm trying to avoid. Yes, yes, i'm a bad person and what not.

I don't have an account, sorry, and I don't know what you're looking for... but just wanted to throw it out there that I think it's at least a slightly misleading service. all the commercials claim a business can't pay to be on Angie's list, but one of their reps calls me at least every other week to ask if my practice wants to become a featured business (by paying a monthly fee).
in other words, I think people do write real reviews, but businesses that pay the company get featured... so it's not necessarily the best businesses you're seeing, just the ones who are willing to spend the money. FWIW
I don't watch a whole lot of TV outside of sports, so it feels like I'm missing out on a lot of good things. My DVD player is currently unplugged and don't have Netflix. The only series I follow lately is Arrow (speaking of which, Felicity >>>>> Laurel).
I got through about Season 4 of the Sopranos and then just stopped, and that was a few years ago. I never seen Game of Thrones, Mad Men, or Walking Dead. Or The Wire - but I do one day plan on getting around to that one. Breaking Bad I've seen bits and pieces, but not enough to follow anything. That might be second behind The Wire. Or first since everyone's talking about it.

I've actually never seen Mad Men, but I think I've seen all of the other shows that have been mentioned because I watch entirely too much tv (part of the reason I'm thinking of cutting off my satellite subscription we move, but also why I am a little uncertain about it). With Breaking Bad, except for last night's episode, I've seen all of them at least three times.
You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.

Did Sopranos get better after the second season? Because I gave up after that.
To tell the truth I was never a huge Sopranos fan either. I didn't find it all that groundbreaking with the exception of Tony being in therapy and that wore out.
I either haven't seen at all or have only seen a season or so of every show mentioned. I'm way behind.... Speaking of which, A$AP Rosko, I probably should just mail you The Wire back because it doesn't seem like I will be picking it up any time soon...
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
I've never watched The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, The Wire, Game of Thrones, or The Walking Dead. I don't even own a DVD Player or have a NetFlix account.
I fail at being a member of Inforoo, I think.
the only one I've seen is Game of Thrones, and my DVD player evidently does not work either. personally, I feel like that makes us the cool kids.
GoT is the only show I've watched as well! That's only because there were books I could read beforehand to see if I would like it
Our VCR is on the fritz. Think we're going to have to buy a new one.
So I had to take care of a couple of long-delayed errands in the city today, one of which was to sign up for a tax file number. Pretty tedious and uneventful chore, right? Well, except for this gem of a conversation:
Tax Office Lady: Mr. Firedrill, under 'date first immigrated', you have only put July 1993. Do you not remember the exact date? Me (blinking incredulously): ummm... that was 20 years ago. Tax Office Lady: So... no? Me: I was six! Tax Office Lady (sighing): I'll just put the 10th.
I swear, if there's one common trait that truly transcends any and all cultural differences, it's gotta be the idiocy of bureaucracy.

I wonder why she picked the 10th. You'd think the dates that would first spring to mind would be the 1st, 15th and 31st.

I know, right? Although I did mention it was in the first half of the month - but still, you'd think the 1st would be the default go-to date.
