I went ahead and answered my own question: I'm amazed they serve beer at Disney World. We tried that here at our local amusement park and it did not go so well! Lots of youngins (40 year old grown men too) puking everywhere.
Any doctors or House addicts in here? Here are the symptoms sharp shooting pain in the upper thigh, almost exclusively with weight bearing. No radiating up or down, improved with ibuprofen but not eliminated. First occurrence ~4 days ago and getting worse. I've got a really shizzy medical history so I'm trying to decide if I should bother with an urgent care type thing or wait until Monday. And Monday...do I call my GP or my orthopedist?

If it doesn't get any worse over the weekend, wait until Monday. Continue Ibuprofen and stay off it as much as possible. See your GP Monday.

Does it feel like it's more in your thigh or hip? I had a pinched nerve in my back last year, hurt to stand or even sit for too long. I guess that was more of a radiating pain, though.

For two years I lived in La Habra , they wouldn't let me in Disney World because guess why? My hair touched my friggin collar.

It sounds like it's probably back or hip related. I get similar problems on occasion and the only thing that helps them is a couple of trips to the chiropractor. I would suggest making an appointment with one to see if they can't help you.
