So they have Christmas Lunch leftovers today from our larger lunch yesterday which I missed due to having to do out of the office stuff. Remaining on my plate, there is mac and cheese, pumpkin pie and ham. How would I ever be able to rank these against each other in terms of awesomeness?

Shut it, woman. It only took me two minutes to decide. Also, much of the pie letdown came from the fact that I ended with it and felt I shouldn't have after realizing it was sweet potato.
Clearly, dutch apple pie with Haagen Dazs ice cream, some caramel drizzled on top and some cinnamon sprinkled on it is the best. You are all arguing over second place.

I hate to admit you have a compelling argument here.
We made a dessert duo yesterday that was blackout good. Bourbon-dark chocolate bread pudding and a Starlight mint creme brulee. When you torched the candied top of the brulee, it made a psychedelic peppermint swirl a la the White Stripes.
I've never tried and/or don't care for most of the pies listed. The only pies I would ever make (outside of you-must-make-this-pie-it's-a-Thankgsiving-tradition pies) would be berry (multi berry-I've never head blueberry, blackberry, etc) or keylime. End of list.

I make a mean key lime tart for the holidays. As well as a lemon meringue whose fluffy meringue sits like a glorious cloud of ecstasy atop it.

Actually, I enjoy lemon meringue too. Just the lemon part though (I guess I just like that tart pies...)
Here's the deal. I grew up with rhubarb growing in my back yard and feel fully confident that I can make a mean strawberry rhubarb. You make a lemon meringue or a key lime. We make a date and stuff our faces, bueno?
